"There is parking off of W. 10th street - through the gate- there's a medium sized lot; make sure to check hours though on the website before you go- I think they only open each year after Oct 28th. It was just $5 to enter, super affordable. The park itself is a bit small, but a reasonable admission price so no complaints. There's a compact room with a few encased artifacts and there's restrooms; outside, there's water fountains. From there, there's a trail that encircles the ruins, and there's a path that connects through the center over the central mound. Along the way, there are signs that you can read- and it's like a rectangular prism that rotates with tidbits of info on the area and history on each side. The park features mostly mounds and the dirt foundations of some rooms. There's also a shaded pavilion with some faux archaeological boxes. The only downside though is as you walk throughout, you can still see the city buildings and hear the traffic. It takes less than an hour to see it, but worth it for a quick stop."

"I was so impressed by this amazing archeological site and it’s little museum in Mesa. It cost only $5 for adults (my husband and I only needed to pay $5 for both of us) to visit the whole site and the museum. Very nice and friendly staff. I highly recommend visiting this place."

"Excellent presentations of history. History you won't learn in the books that existed in 1100 - 1400 AD. To understand the tribes the existed during this time you might want to walk the land."

"Although this Hohokam platform mound has not been totally excavated, there is a lot of information about it. The SWAT (Southwest Archaeology Team) is there giving visitors very detailed information and the small visitors center has some great artifacts. There are small areas that have been uncovered to show the original walls. Wear a hat, good shoes to walk in, sunscreen, and bring a camera. There are restrooms in the visitors center. The path is a little rough in areas around the platform and may be tough in spots for wheelchairs but possible. The path that runs on the top of the platform is not suitable for wheelchairs. Please allow up to two hours to visit this site."
