"We had a delightful time at the Grand Hotel. The rooms were not only charming but cozy and quiet. There is a good integration of modern comforts with old world panache. The check in was via codes so no staff was visible. We were given a phone number should we have needed help — we didn’t. The hotel restaurant was closed but we found a welcoming and tasty local Mexican restaurant on the next block. After a good sleep in a pleasant setting we left wondering why anyone would stay in a chain hotel."

"What a great way some rest and learn about the history of this great little community! Lots of noise from the heavy traffic, but nothing that can't be fixed with some heavy curtains! We didn't see anyone that actually worked here. The room was very clean. I wish we had better options for breakfast. Even the coffee was very cheap and generic. Not what we expected from a 1800's hotel."

"We had a wedding in Rush City and this hotel was only 4 minutes away, which was great. It's a super cool hotel that is over 100 years old. They have the rooms set up old fashion, but nicely renovated. Each room is unique and super cute. They have a small coffee bars on the 2nd floor and a sitting area with a fridge on the first floor. There is no elevator. This is a self check-in hotel, so you have to have door codes to even enter. Your communication is over email or phone. We really enjoyed our stay here & would stay again."

"Was a beautiful hotel. The rooms were awesome. I stayed in room 2 and had a wonderful time. It was like you were back in the early 1900's. With a newer amenities. Would recommend and lol Mabel 's was amazing food cooked with love and was well priced probably less than it could be I hope tonsaty there again."
