"We booked two nights for our wedding anniversary. After checking in, a severe thunderstorm came through, and the motel lost power. We stayed the night, using a flashlight we had in the car, no AC, no lights. No power the next morning, no breakfast, no shower with no hair dryer. No promise of when power would be fixed. After several discussions with an unreasonable hotel clerk we checked out, explaining we would pay the full amount for the night we had spent, but expected credit for the second night we wouldn't be using. I kept watching for the CC bill to show up in our account. I advise the hotel 5 days after checking out that I expectedto pay for one night, finally 12 days after checking out a bill was posted for the full amount. With our CC company in the loop, I attempted to contact the hotel to work out a solution, no response. After four months, we've given up any reasonable settlement with the hotel, it isn't worth my time to continue this fight. The hotel may have won this battle, but based on our experience, and other reviews that are posted, they've lost the war. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK!"

"I call ahead to find out if they vacancy, he says plenty, he also tells me 129.00 for room. I show up he charges me 163.64, for the room, next morning I wake to take shower, no hot water, tell the girl working the front desk and she says, ohh that's to bad. No one should have to put up with unprofessional run businesses, I'll be filing a dispute with my credit card over this. I would not recommend."

"Go by the reviews on this hotel! No where does it mention that you can only use the pool 1 time for 1 hour. 1 time a day… for 1 hour. There were bug traps in the room and bedbug protectors on the bed. No fire alarms in the rooms they were all disabled. The breakfast was a joke there wasn't enough food for all the guest. This hotel used to be nice a few years ago!"

"We had a good stay during our family vacation, but came home to some unexplained charges on our credit card. We called to ask about them, and we were told that there were room damages. We did not damage anything. When trying to have a discussion about it, my husband was hung up on after being told "I don't have time for this." Very unprofessional. Please look over your room before getting settled in and document ALL preexisting damages you see and bring the list to hotel management so you will be covered. As others stated, if swimming is high on your list of amenities, don't stay here. There are very restrictive policies. The whirlpool WAS great though. I'd call this place child tolerant rather than child friendly. If plan to use the mini fridge, make sure to check the plug. It was unplugged when we checked in (as someone else experienced) and our left over take away spoiled."
