Reviews of Northland Lodge
"Perfect place for an amazing, fish, swim, hike, etc., relaxing vacation!! You will not be disappointed!! We booked already for next year!!"
"Staying at Northland Lodge every summer is the highlight of my year! I've been going up to Northland Lodge for the past 7 years with my husband's family and every year, it's the perfect vacation. The cabins are homey and the scenery is beautiful. Located on Lost Land Lake, if you're looking for a relaxing getaway to escape to and enjoy beautiful nature, this is the place to go. Family owned and operated, the staff is friendly and accommodating. We spend most of our days out fishing on Lost Land and Teal lakes, then at night we head to the lodge to catch up with old friends. With so many returning/regular guests, it's like everyone is family, and I've felt welcomed from my day 1 of my first visit. It's a great place for all ages."
"Such a great experience on Lost Land Lake. The cabin was cute and secluded in the peaceful woods. The staff were like family and made sure I was taken care of. They even had some fun entertainment that brought the community together for laughs and good tunes. We were able to take out a pontoon and use their water toys on the lake."
"Disappointed. Lake was great. Owners were very rude at times. Went to the lodge bar, we seemed like a nuisance to even be ordering drinks. Saw weather ahead of time (heat advisory), asked to bring AC unit (wouldn’t let us, not even an option to pay extra). So our 2 year old had to sleep in a room at around 100 degrees (heat index was crazy). Other cabins had AC, but didn’t allow pets. 3 couples came, each brought a dog. Quoted ahead of time at $115 for 4 dogs to come (only 3 did), which was higher than most cabins we rented in the past, but we were ok with it. When we came to pay the bill, were charged $115 per dog for one week in one cabin (no damage done). Also along with the bill, look it over. Paid a $600 deposit ahead of time, didn’t take that off of the bill. Seemed like we were more of a hassle than customers. Loved the lake, but won’t stay there again."
"I too have been going to Northland for many years, and often more than once. The fishing has always been wonderful, but the most important thing to me has always been the way that the owners make you feel when you are there. You become the most important thing to them and you know it when you leave. Needless to say I have been blessed to have a wonderful relationship with the whole family. If you need something, they will provide it if possible. If you have a problem, they will take care of it (if they know! you have to tell them). The Ritz, it's not but if you want a up north experience right down to the log cabins and the log lodge, this is the place. God has blessed Northland Lodge and the family beyond belief."
