"It's just a small shop, nothing special, not very pretty."
"Back in the 50's the TV quiz show "What's My Line?" had a schoolmate's dad on, and he stumped the panel. He was a local Gallo winemaker of Chinese ancestry. We drove by this old winery often on old 66. Then, in the 70's, the famous little steam locomotive from TV's "Petticoat Junction" was stored on a small rail spur in the area. Not all the sprawl back then, only I-10."
"we stumbled upon this plaque while we were grabbing a cup of coffee right next door. the whole plaza is themed to the history of the winery. it's actually really awesome to see bits and pieces of it referenced throughout the parking lot. i enjoyed seeing the historical portion of this shopping plaza."
