"Small and beautiful resort. The bar has great "bar" pizza. I didn't meet the folks who own the place but my friends who do know the owners, love them. Quaint would be the best word to describe Clearwater resort. Oh, and if you like golf, they have a beautiful course within walking distance!"

"We had a wonderful week. Cabins were clean and nice. Simple, rustic. It was awesome that the bar was only 30 steps from the cabin. Tom and Mel tended bar and a there was usually a colorful collection of golfers, campers, boaters, and local residents. The lake was clean and clear. The kids had a blast swimming fishing, kayaking, and doing endless cannon balls off the end of the dock. What a wonderful hidden gem in the north woods of Wisconsin. It was close enough (2 hours) that we made it up to the north shore of Lake Superior for a day and hit the Zipline adventure park in Silver Bay, MN. I highly recommend it for a day trip. Also, CAMBA maintains a lot of single track mountain bike trails. I went down to Hayward, 25 minutes south of the resort, and rode the very southern tip of the giant trail system. I went 3 different mornings and loved every minute."
