Reviews of Pasadena Heritage
"Wonderful organization supporting Pasadena’s rich architectural legacy. The Bridge Party every two years on the Colorado Bridge is a must experience! Many fun events every month. Check out their website."
"Close family friends Clyde & Bernice Madison & son Roger lived and died in this house before it became a museum. Great memories of a very unique family."
"Full disclosure report: I volunteer with Pasadena Heritage and here's why: PH is celebrating 40 wonderful years, and counting, of architecural, historic and community preservation, education and advocacy. A pioneer in the establishment of HPOZs (historic preservation overlay zones) that give neighborhoods like North Pasadena's Bungalow Heaven charm, and added value in both value, and historic context. PH is also in the forefront of sustainable, historic building repurposing. Craftsman Weekend, in early November, is always a "must-do, must see" event. Informative, volunteer-docent-lead walking tours, through the Rose City's intriguing pockets, are given throughout the year. Recent tours have included mid-century courtyard living and landscaping, and special focus on the work of Greene and Greene, and Wallace Neff. Volunteering and membership enables you to meet great folks who love art, architecure and history. Pasadena really does treat culture and education like a true community utility."
"Makes Pasadena a special place to live and experience a quality environment."
"Great Spring House Tour, Summer Colorado Street Bridge party & fall Craftsman weekend!"
