The trail boasts stunning views of the Pacific Ocean and the surrounding landscape, providing hikers with a refreshing escape from city life. The well-maintained path is suitable for various fitness levels, making it accessible to both beginners and seasoned hikers. The presence of informative plaques along the route, sharing insights into Will Rogers' life, adds a historical touch to the journey. Whether you're seeking a peaceful walk or a more challenging hike, Will Rogers provides a satisfying blend of nature and history."
"Great place for picnics, bbqs and hiking. Paths are rocky and uneven. Beautiful views from many areas on hike. The museum was closed, but they offer tours. Bathrooms were very clean. Water station at bathroom area. Grounds are beautiful. Not crowded on a Tuesday mid-morning. Felt safe for females hiking alone."
"One of the smaller state parks, but so peaceful and tranquil. The added touch of having the horses nearby, either on the polo field or in the ring, makes your time there even better. The large grassy area is the best place to just lay down and be bathed in the nature surrounding you. The easier trails make for a hike where you are immersed in the joy of just being out in nature, not struggling to get through it. No worries about getting lost because the few trails all lead to Inspiration Point, where the ocean views are expansive. There are plenty of benches up there also, to just sit and relax. Head back down to the little museum honoring the great Will Rogers, with some cool history and pictures. The bathrooms are clean and well stocked, too. The rangers are friendly and helpful. There is a fee to park that is paid at the main entrance booth Friday through Sunday, but during the week, it's self pay at the pay station or through an app, scan code to download the app is found on signs placed in the parking lot. The all-day fee is $12, $11 for seniors, $3 per hour. I paid by credit card, but I'm not sure if they take cash. This is definitely a beautiful place to spend some time outside with family, friends, or by yourself. Enjoy!"
