"I have been a customer for awhile now. I always have been treated well. I would recommend them."
"Decades go by and I continue to choose Coast Central Credit Union (CCCU) for banking services. CCCU proves themself to be the right choice"
"I have been with coast central for over 7 years because it is a local bank that I want to support. Recently my wallet was stolen, I called them to lock my card as I cant do it online myself. And I need it to be done as soon as possible to avoid more unauthorized transactions, yet the call took over 30mins to verify me and if I have the stolen card or know the last 4 digit of the card (who would know that if your card has been stolen?) I was super disappointed, as per the phone conversation goes, I see the thief who has my card has purchased 3 large transactions, and yet the representative can not lock my card. I sincerely have concern and it is unbelievable. I simply can’t trust the bank process, and the team ability to solve emergency matter like this. Not to compared with other bank, the other bank card I have, it literally took me no more than 2 mins to lock either online or by a phone call. I really hope the bank administrator take this comment seriously to improve the process of locking card when someone report lost card/card stolen."
"It has been an ok bank to use but they have become very weird lately. I went to deposit a check today but my small daughter and I needed to use the restroom first. On our way to the restroom a woman told me they did not let MEMBERS use their restroom any more “BeCauSe oF CoViD”. Ok sure lady like having unfair hygiene practices is going to cure your sick mind…"
"I have two complaints against Coast Central Credit Union: a) My own personal account for $50, and b) An Association account for $150+ that I am responsible for. Coast Central Credit Union shut off online access to my own personal account. When questioning them about this they said the account was abandoned, but the online access was only shut off after I filled out a customer satisfaction survey citing they were abnormally low. Coast Central Credit Union is required by law to forward monies for abandoned accounts to the state of California, but they never did. They pocketed my $50. Even though my online access was shut off about three months ago, I continued to receive notice of online statement availability as early as July 2018. With respect to my second account, Coast Central Credit Union alleges I am not a signer on an account, but I do have concurrent legal authority with our co-director, who like myself are the only two directors ever registered with the registry of charitable trusts. As a result we do have authority, but Coast Central Credit Union won't release the money. Best to avoid this institution, but be warned that outside of the state of Washington, no regulator in the country will protect you against a financial institution and the regulatory environment has been this way for a very long time. Coast would never get away with this in Washington state. You run the risk this place will steal your money and no one will help you."
