"In the past year, My granddaughter was seen in your Walk In clinic by Dr Richard Carroll. And I wanted your hospital to know that I have never in my life met a doctor who demonstrated such competent and compassionate care to a patient who is usually met with contempt and disgust because of her ongoing struggle with addiction. He made her feel like she was really seen and deemed worthy of everything she needed in her journey towards sobriety. Your hospital's reputation can only be improved by his employment. I will be forever grateful for the kindness she was shown by him and the RN nursing staff who cared for her. Thank you doesn't seem sufficient. But thank you and Dr Carroll of course. "Doctor Ringsred is one of the worst doctors I've had the pleasure of meeting. He didn't care at all about my own health! I have 2 cervical discs deteriorated and Dr. Ringsred sent me to a Psychiatrist. He also missed an infection that would have killed me in 24 hrs if I hadn't gone to Duluth. So screw this hospital and Dr Ringsred."
"I spoke to a women named Jill today who was honestly one of the rudest people I've ever spoke to in my life. She clearly needs a profession that doesn't involve having to communicate with others. I called the hospitals number to see if my two children could receive a covid test after being exposed to someone who tested positive and presented with symptoms a few days later. The first women I talked to put me on hold and said I could drive to the back of the clinic and call the number on the drive up tent to have a test done. I did that and called the number, which Jill answered. She rudely said "that's not how we do it here. That's not how it works, you don't just drive up." I calmly explained that I had tried to call a few times and when I got ahold of someone she directed me here. She replied that the phones have been ringing all day and I there was "many people behind me." I work in Healthcare so I empathize with how shortstaffed and stressful of times these are. However, her behavior was completely unprofessional. As I was trying to give her my children's birthdays, she misheard me and rudely said "that doesn't make sense to me. 7 isn't a year." I explained that my child was upset and crying in the back and repeated myself. She continued to make rude, snide comments before transferring me to someone else. Overall, I'm shocked that someone in Healthcare was so outright rude and unprofessional. On a side note: the women who did the test and triage, Amanda, was amazing and extremely professional."
"I am not sure how the so called Dr. Ringsred is still practicing. If you run into this man in the ER run the other way. He misdiagnosed in our ER visit resulting in us driving to Duluth. Without doing a physical check he informed us we had a miscarriage. This was an ivf child which requires daily doses of medications. Had we listened to Dr. Ringsred we would have gone home thinking we had a miscarriage. The fact is we drove to Duluth to find out the bleeding was from a hemorrhage and the baby was still alive. We have recently added the baby to our family with no thanks to Dr. Rinsred and the ER. It is very unfortunate we will have to travel out of our home town for doctor/ER visits."
"Brought my 6 week baby there because she was running a fever, had green mucus, & a cough. I walked in & a nurse there told me that 6 week old baby's don't get sick..she obviously has never had a child?! the nurse was VERY rude... She made me want to walk right back out & drive all the way to Duluth ER. I won't ever bring my baby there again. In the end we come to find out my baby had slight RSV. The doctor was awesome tho!"
