"Honestly I never saw myself moving downtown until I toured at the blackstone and found my dream apartment. I’ve been living here for a bit over a year now and it’s safe to say that this is more than just a place to live but genuinely a cool community. I want to give thanks the Shawn the landlord for making it happen, he puts on amazing events in the courtyard where I’ve gotten to befriend my neighbors, and I’ve never seen someone so dedicated to their building as a landlord. The staff keeps everything clean and in order, I know I’ll be here for years to come!!"

"Blackstone is a great location, and decent apartments. Management on the other hand (specifically the manager shawn) is incredibly unhelpful, any request of him for assistance is met with disrespectful attitude as if any request is an inconvenience to his day. extremely latent in responses, claims off work very frequently when requests are made, has not followed up for any questions without being hounded for a response. Unless management is changed I do not recommend. felicity on the other hand was always extremely kind and helpful for any requests made to her."

"The Blackstone apartment building is one of the best hidden gems in DTLA. The courtyard is a peaceful sanctuary in the middle of the crazy downtown city. I loved living here! Such a great location and you can walk to everything. On top of that, the staff is awesome! Shawn is my favorite and he is always been so helpful and sweet throughout my experience living here."

"I've been living in the Blackstone for a couple months now. I honestly can't think of a better place to live. Location is perfect - its walking distance to everything in downtown but not in the busiest or sketchiest part of town. The apartments are nice with beautiful wood floors. I noticed that some of the reviews here seem to be very critical of the management. These must be old reviews because the new manager Tony is absolutely fantastic. He is 100% on top of everything and always seems to be available. Would definitely recommend living here."

"I have referred many people to The Blackstone Apartments, and they all rave about how great it is. Most of the units have 15 foot tall ceilings that are decorated with beautiful crown molding. The apartments all have 3/4 inch wood floors. The windows are large. The Kitchens are beautiful, modern fixtures. The building is very active with the monthly Art Walk party event. This is a beautiful and fun place to live. If you are looking for a place to live downtown, you should strongly consider visiting this building for a tour."
