Reviews
"An iconic L.A landmark famous mostly for the fact that it has been featured in many movies and TV series. The cost to ride is $1 one-way and the trip takes about one minute. You can also take the stairs back down if you don't wish to ride the return trip."
"Shortest train journey in the world. Just a minute. Ticket price is $1 one way. For two dollars you can do a up and down journey. It’s fun to go with kids. There is some waiting to get tickets but not long."
"For the price this touristy spot is not going to take all your money. We took just one trip which is going down, but I think after stuffing ourselves at the grand central market it’s better if we took it going up. Nonetheless, for just a dollar anyone can just ride it. The guy behind the counter was friendly and funny."
"It's definitely a tourst spot. The shortest railway in the world was built 118 years ago. It was a fun landmark to visit. may lift you up and down for a minimal fee.use your tap card to receive half off. Walking the nearby steps up and down rather than using the railing can give you an excellent experience. leads to a lovely outdoor plaza with a stage and lots of eateries and businesses close by"
"Short 1-min ride up or down the hill for $1 each way. Just next to grand central market so conveniently located to experience this historical ride that launched in 1901 over a century ago. Went on a weekend didn’t have to wait too long. I think 20 or 30 people can ride at a time so queue moves quickly."
