"Visited this location for Urgent Care. The nurse and doctor were awesome! Helped me with my need. However, on the billing side, they do not code for an Urgent Care visit. They code for a doctor office visit and facility charge. They are listed as an Urgent Care and they are not a hospital. So if your insurance plan has an Urgent Care copay, this is not what you will see when you get the bill. It will be much larger as the facility charge will go towards your deductible. It is shame that you have to learn this after the fact and that you have to do 'homework' and call Urgent Care's ahead of time to ask how they bill."
"They are doing a great job with the urgent care department to the primary care doctors. My kids love visiting their primary care doctor for annual check ups. Most times the wait is at a minimum as well. I appreciate quality care!"
"Went in for pink eye with my son. Great experience! Dr Zemple and the nurse were both amazing. They made it a point to involve him and asked him directly for his symptoms and permission to take a look. I know those sound like minor little things but this made a huge difference since he’s had surgeries at his young age so it was a big deal to go in. They definitely restored confidence in him and as a mom, I was very happy too with the knowledge and confidence in treating him. Thank you!!! Highly recommend."
"This was the most awful experience I have ever had . I’d like to start of by saying I am currently a RN and work med surg and would never treat my patients the way that I was treated . Second , I’d like to say that I worked for ABMC on Greenbrier rd previously from 2019-2023. This was awful and I’d like someone to contact me about this horrible experience . I came to urgent care due to asthma exacerbation , COVID symptoms , and my rheumatoid arthritis flare up . I waited from 16:42 until 17:32 until a nurse brought me back to a room ( at this time I was wheezing , and in excruciating Pain all over my body and I let the front desk rep know this while registering ) .. the nurse was nice and took me in the back room , collected my vitals my Bp was 158/90 .. she then asked my concerns & auscultated my lung sounds and swab my nostrils for COVID, RSV , and influenza . She then said the doctor will be in soon . My pain increased more the doctor did not come until 18:32 by this time I was on the phone with my spouse asking him to pick me up and take me to the ER else where as I no longer could tolerate the pain . The doctor entered said 2 sentences to me “ your hear for your asthma , and pain ?” I said yes I’m wheezing I tried my duoneb at home and rescue inhaler and still experiencing dyspnea my main issue is the pain all over my body and I informed him I have RA and believe I’m having a flare up due to being sick . He said “ well if your pain is so bad you’re in tears you shouldn’t be in urgent care I can’t give you anything for pain but I can give you steroids for your asthma , what do you want to do “ I informed him that I called ABMC prior to arrival and was instructed by the triage nurse to be seen in urgent care within 4 hours based off my symptoms which is why I came to urgent care instead of the ER . I explained at 15:40 today when my pain was intolerable that I had SOB, RA flare up and fever of 100.7, runny nose , productive cough and sore throat and she told me to go to urgent care . The doctor then said “ well I can’t give you pain meds so do u want us to get u to st Mary’s “ …. my boyfriend was already on his way so I informed the doctor my spouse is on his way to take me … this experience was awful from the triage nurse who spoke to me on the phone to he wait time in the urgent care to the wait time in the back . Not to mention when I originally called ABMC and told them I would like to see any rheumatologist due to a flare up the nurse told me that both rheumatologist that I’ve seen are agency contacted and Vera Boccoun contracted ended and Aba Monsa is out until March . I already had a follow up apt with Dr Monsa for April but due to the flare up I wanted to be seen sooner and no one could help me I was told they did not have any rheumatologist which is concerning ! To have this chronic condition and not have a specialist until March is a problem ! Moving forward I went to SMG and my BP was 194/106 and I developed a headache thank god these nurses had some manners and compassion they gave me morphine steroids and helped me feel better the doctor was nice as well unlike at aurora west mason urgent care . WORST AND I DO MEAN WORST EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFETIME DO BETTER"
"I came to this urgent care when I was visiting my mother from out of town over fourth of July weekend. While the service was fine, they are now billing me twice for the same visit, and I'm having to pay double the co-pay (once for the "facility," once for the doctor). I've spent hours on the phone trying to straighten this out, but will end up just having to pay twice the co-pays. Had I known this going in, I would not have brought my daughter here. I would not recommend."
