"I went there for a hip X-ray today. I was told they couldn’t do it, because it was ordered wrong, and that I would have to call my doctor to get it fixed. Now, I would not be so angry, if I hadn’t called them yesterday to ask them if they had the order! I was told yes, they did. I just had surgery done a week ago, I am in pain, and I have to take a taxi everywhere I need to go . I can’t afford to be making unnecessary trips , or to be just sitting around in waiting rooms in pain, and not to mention sitting with sick people! I, personally, have been a RN for 50 years, so it cannot be said that I don’t understand the system. I see thus as shoddy work by people who just don’t care. Being told that it was my job to straighten out the order, was wrong. I am tge patient, here. How am I supposed to know what needs to be ordered? That is just laziness on your part! It isn’t right to just stick it to the person who is coming to you for help in pain, and is worried about what could be wrong with their body. And then being asked to just sit in the waiting room until it can be fixed? The doctors office was closing for lunch, and I would have to sit there for at least another hour. It’s shameful that your standards of excellence have dropped to such a low point."
"MRI Technician could care less about me. I tried to communicate with him about the severe pain in my hip during the MRI procedure and got zero response. Maybe there is no sound system in the room anymore? At the end of the scan I needed help getting off the table and he said to hurry up as he had another patient waiting. Also never got any information as to where I would get the results on the scan. Test was on 12/24/2023. Robert Eicher"
"Everyone I talked to, over the phone and in person, was really nice. It was kind of a pain to get scheduled. You really have to do a lot of back and forth between here and other providers. But, the imaging itself was fast and the docs are wonderful!"
"Scheduling is so abysmal, that 'even' when I called their Manager and left a VM, they didn't return my call, either. Yet, my call re scheduling, is important to them, and they will return it within 1 business day. So they say. A flat out lie!. Whatever happened to their mantra to employees of not making promises to patients that they can't keep?. Oh, that's right- we're in Humboldt, and this is about as good as we can expect to get, because healthcare here just is what it is. Could do a lot better. Does not play well with others."
"Every time I call them to schedule an appointment, it is a nightmare. I just literally spent the last 45 minutes sitting on hold, listening to their awful hold music. No one picked up the phone to schedule my appointment. This happens every single time I call them. I have called them six times today alone, and each time the recording informs me that my wait time will be 5 minutes. So, I decided to wait. I gave up after 45 minutes! This is beyond ridiculous. I've called both numbers listed on their web site. All numbers direct your call to the same call center, where you just end up waiting on hold forever. Once you finally get in there for an appointment (assuming you can get past the obnoxious appointment scheduling mess), the staff working in the imaging departments are nice and do a good job. But, they really need to work on their scheduling department issues. What a huge mess!"
