"I went there for a fourth grade trip and it was really fun food is also really good"
"This place is the funnest place ever! There are so many different activities such as Swimming, Kayaking, Canoeing, Sailing, Archery, Rock climbing, Sliding, Hiking, Etc. The bathrooms sometimes smell like sulfur water, but that’s my only complaint. The food is amazing, they are really good cooks. If you go to family camp, on Labor Day weekend, you get a movie night, dodgeball game, and a talent show. There is a fishing dock at the lake, where there are 3 snapping turtles. The lodges are small, with a bathroom you have to walk to, but they are alright. I recommend staying at Runge lodge, or Hoffer. They are pretty good areas to stay at, some rooms have bathrooms attached to the bedrooms. If I could rate this higher than a 5, I definitely would. P.S. bring bug spray or anything like that, at night there are bugs everywhere!"
"This goes back to the mid 50’s when I would spend my summer days at the Peoria, IL YMCA. Then two weeks at Camp Edwards where I earned awards for swimming and diving. Learned how to canoe, sail a boat and shoot a bow and arrow. I recall receiving a different color neckerchief each year of attendance. I don’t recall any negatives everything for me was positive. I still make a bed with the hospital corners as taught."
"The best place on earth. I grew up here and all of my best memories are spread among the 10 years I spent both as a counselor and a camper. Sending your kid of any age is the best decision you could ever make!"
