"Oh. My. Goodness. We had such an INCREDIBLE experience at our first visit to Cubanitas! We were killing time before another engagement, and we stopped in for a quick drink and decided to also try the plantains and guac. Such a happy decision! The drinks were incredible (Mojito of the Month - Pomegranate FTW!) and the fried plantains and guac were otherworldly. It was so hard to not blow off our next appointment and park it and stay for dinner and more drinks! When we walked in we were greeted by the sweetest, funniest and most knowledgeable host ever, Valentina. She gave us great recommendations and an overview of what we're definitely ordering the next time we visit...which may be tomorrow. If the rest of the menu is as good, this is a somewhat dangerous find. While our food and drink were excellent, I would be remiss if I didn't share how lovely the restaurant atmosphere is -- I really felt like we were transported to a friend's home. Between the family photos on the wall, and how lovely and engaging Valentina was, we really didn't want to leave. I can't WAIT to go back!"

"Absolutely fantastic. Best Cubano I've had that didn't require me smoking a pork butt for 12 hours and making it myself. Seriously though the entire place is great, from the music, to the people and of course the food. All I can say is if you want a Cubano, and you aren't in Miami, but near Milwaukee, go here, get one, and enjoy."
