"The outdoor trails here are outstanding. Peaceful and lots of options. Don't miss the boardwalk and the pond overlooks. The kids play area is awesome - the hand water pump and tree house are brilliant and my kids could spend hours content just between those two things. The center building itself is new and doesn't charge admission although donations are accepted. You can watch honeybees at work, look at bird specimens, dinosaur artifacts, turtle shells, and so much more. Just a heads up - nothing inside is for touching, so remind your kids before they go in (there are signs all over to remind you of this). Nice, clean bathrooms and showers with camping onsite, bike tune up station, and even a little free library. Fantastic place to visit!"
"A really beautiful and fantastic park! The natural playground was a lot of fun for our two and four year olds. There was a tree house, sand pit, slide, and some large limestone rocks that formed a little cave. Highly recommend."
