"This place is cool! If medieval arms and armor is of interest..there's no other place like it (around here anyway). Very impressive collection of original pieces. The facility is exceptionally clean, and the staff very friendly and knowledgeable."
"Such a great museum that was well organized and had very interesting displays. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend visiting."
"For anyone who enjoys history, this is a fun little stop to take you back in time to the renaissance time. Here can see armor from the different periods of time. What I really enjoyed hearing that a lot of the items at this little museum were all real from Europe with only a handful of items that are replicas. The price to get in is only $6 for adults. So if driving through Alma, Wisconsin, and you enjoy some history or even want to learn alittle. Take a stop in the Castlerock Museum!"
"From the quality of the collection to the knowledgeability of the docents in full costume, we were impressed by this museum. We were a group of 12, ages 4 to 66, and everyone found something to interest them. The best part might have been the opportunity for the kids to try on some of the armor and hold the weaponry. Very interactive. The collection spans the millennia, from Viking, Roman, and Greek artifacts through the conquistadors and beyond. It's worth noting that a handful of medieval torture instruments are included, though not prominently."
"We went for a homeschooling field trip. It was awesome. There are two stories and the first story we were with an employee who told us about an the different things and where they came from and answered questions. Down stairs is a dungeon and the kids got to try on some of the chain clothing and helmets. It was interesting and fun for the kids and adults."
