Reviews
"First off, ignore any reviews with no words. If they can't dignify this property with a legitimate response then don't take their review into account. I resided at Terrace Villas from July 2020-June 2023 and I enjoyed every second of my stay. The landscaping and common areas are beautifully maintained. They provided proper notice and were communicative about smoke detector tests, emergency water shut offs, laundry room repairs, etc. Pretty much anything that could interfere with your day to day, they made sure you were aware beforehand. The manager is very responsive for maintenance requests. Luckily, all I had to deal with was a leaky faucet. No problems. It's apartment living, and Midland does a great job at maintaining a great place to live. Would highly recommend touring a unit if available."
"I used to live in these apartments and I never had issues while I lived there. Landowner was attentive and always was a quick response. Customer service was always beyond. My stay was great. Hopefully if I ever need another apartment they will be available. Location is perfect. Apartments amenities where beautiful."
"I lived in Terrace Villa Apartments for almost 2 years and had issue after issue. To begin, the first summer there we had a horrible termite infestation. It was mostly in the kitchen and my room. When I told Aracely, their "solution" was to drill holes in the walls and add a chemical that did nothing but create huge holes. I ended up sleeping on the couch for two weeks because it was so bad. She made it seem like it wasn't an issue because others were dealing with it too and apparently had it worse. Not sleeping in a room I paid for and having termites land on my food while I cook is an issue to me. To make matters worse, they ended up deciding to only fumigate one side of the complex which was the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard because all it ended up doing was forcing all the termites from the other side over to ours. They were too cheap to tent the entire building and would rather have tenants suffer through until the termites moved on. One month Aracely claimed that I didn't pay rent when my check was in the same envelope that my roommates' was. When I asked her if maybe she could've misplaced it she lost her temper and went off on me, sticking to her story. I ended up canceling the check. I then asked them to pay for the cancelation fee seeing as how it was their fault and they shut me down so fast. Why would I pay to cancel a check I supposedly never wrote? Come on..... Also, the water was shut off at least 2-3 days per month for "repairs" that were sometimes given 24 hour notice (which is the LAW) and sometimes not. Once I even had clothes in the washer and they randomly chose to turn the water off and ruin my clothes. The worst was when we didn't have water for an entire week, in which we were offered no form of compensation or apology. This building is old and needs a ton of work, unless you like not being able to shower when you want I suggest you keep searching. You're only allotted one parking space and CANNOT get another (reviewer below must have been lied to). My lease agreement even said we were allotted two parking spaces but when I spoke to her about that she said it "must have been a mistake". Things written and signed by both parties in a lease agreement cannot be a mistake because it is a LEGAL agreement. Parking on the street is a pain especially if you work a 9-5, too many people and not enough room. Oh also when it rained my windows leaked and got my stuff wet even though they claimed that they're "brand new" windows. Always the cheapest option with this complex. To top it all off she took money out of our deposit, claiming that we "didn't clean the apartment" even though I explained to her that they day we moved out the water was ONCE AGAIN shut off! Please explain to me who can clean with no water!? She knew I couldn't fight it because I moved out of the country which is so shady. I was promised a meeting to discuss compensation for all of my troubles but that never happened. So not only did they not meet with me to discuss compensation, but they ALSO took money out of my deposit. These guys are all talk, and they will always take the cheaper route that benefits them and barely keeps you satisfied. I regret choosing to live here and would DEFINITELY have kept looking if I could do it again! Location is just simply not worth the headache!"
