"Be very careful if you come here (especially if you have children). I was here a couple days ago and found used, uncapped heroin needles laying around on the ground and in the tunnel. I went to elementary school at Boyd and spent a lot of time in this park as a kid. It is truly disgusting and depressing to see how filthy it has been allowed to become."

"Been here many times over the years, flying kites, ice skating, hiking and biking thru, grilling, exploring the River, and 4th of July this year which had a good energy. There is a new pollination garden in the prairie section, which also has hiking trails that connect to the park area by the Hastings bridge. It’s a somewhat small space but there’s a lot to do here even in winter months."
