Reviews of Wallace Lake Supper Club
"I have eaten a fish fry at Wallace Lake Supper Club twice this Lenten season. Both times the cod was great. They give you three nice size pieces. They also give you a nice portion of french fries and the cole slaw is amazing. Before you get any of that they bring you a small warm loaf of bread which was fantastic. The bartenders, hostess, and servers are very friendly and supper nice. Fridays are pretty busy and the food comes out in a reasonable amount of time. They don't take reservations on Friday, but you can put your name in with the hostess and go to the bar for an adult beverage and they will come and get you when your table is ready. The old fashions are pretty good as well. They remodeled the restaurant a few years back and now the dining room is is the back and you have a very nice view of the lake. They also added another parking area across the street so there's ample parking. You won't be disappointed with the food, service, or atmosphere here. Sorry there's no pictures other than from the bar area looking onto the dining room. You'll have to go and see for yourself."
"We have been regulars here for years. The salad bar is consistently the best around. We have tried many salad bars from other supper clubs. The bartenders are great. Last night we came for German Night. My schnitzel with mustard cream sauce was wonderful. Our server Deanna was friendly and attentive. I included a picture from Christmas time to show the coziness inside."
"This is an awesome supper club, right on the lake. The drinks were on point, especially the old fashions and bloody marys. The salad bar was amazing with a ton of options including fresh fruit. Our server, Ciera, was amazing and didn't miss a beat. The prime rib portions are insanely huge. The one in the picture is a regular size. I believe they have 4 different sizes. We will definitely go back in the summer to enjoy the patio seating."
"We had 2 overcooked Cowboy Ribeyes that lacked flavor and garlic mashed potatoes that were very dry even with a lot of melted butter on top. Fish was good that others had. Picture is a replacement but very grisly steak. Great staff comped the grisly steak."
"This was legitimately one of the most pleasant dining experiences we have ever had. We are not local, so the concept of Supper Club is a foreign concept for us. But I would imagine if you looked up Supper Club in the dictionary, Wallace Lake would be photoset. Beautiful building with a perfect view of the lake. Interior is classy and well thought out. The lighting is beautiful Starburst chandeliers. Our waitress Rosie was so kind and accepting. Telling us all about the culture of Supper clubs and recommending great drinks and appetizers. My wife ordered the prime rib, and I had the aged Ribeye special. For appetizers, we had the wonton mozzarella sticks, which were incredible. I tried my first sour old fashion ( with their homegrown mushrooms and olives, asparagus, and Brussel sprout). It was perfect and one of the best drinks I've ever had. The meat was prepared perfectly. Sides were good, salad bar had great variety. Soup was ok. We finished the meal with their Schaum Tarte. Absolutely scrumptious! The experience was worth every penny, and we will be sure to visit again in our 8-week stay in Wisconsin. If you are close, make the trip. But call ahead and assure they have room for you. We did come the day before and ended up making a reservation for the next day."
