"If you're looking for the best midwives out there, Andrea and Maggie are it! These two provide truly wholistic care from the 1st day you meet them! They are incredibly knowledgeable, caring, supportive, and funny too! By the end of our journey together, they really felt like family! My husband and I originally started visiting midwives in the hopes of doing another birth center birth, like we did with our first kiddo. Homebirth was something I always wanted and thought about doing, but I had some fear, and my husband was even more fearful and unsure. Andrea and Maggie completely got us on board the first day we met them. They thoroughly explained everything to my husband and I and went over what would be done in different emergency scenarios. By the end of our initial visit, which was filled with laughter, we felt like Andrea and Maggie were friends we had known for a long time. We both knew immediately that we wanted them to be our midwives! Prenatal visits were something I looked forward to! I loved my hour with them, and so did my 2 year old, who was able to go to all of my appointments. They even have a play area that she adored. They also got her involved with using the doppler to listen to her baby sisters heartbeat and gave her some snacks here and there. Needless to say, my 2 year old was a huge fan as well. I did dual care and still saw an OB, and let me tell you, the care is night and day! 15 minutes with an OB just doesn't even come close to your hour with Andrea and Maggie. You feel loved, you feel supported, you feel heard. You leave every visit feeling good and feeling more prepared for your labor and delivery. My homebirth was amazing! I'm so happy I was able to do it, and I cried tears of joy when I held my baby for the first time. I felt joy that she was here, but also all I could think, was "WOW! I DID IT!" I was so proud of myself. I birthed my baby at home, in my own space, surrounded by the people I loved the most! And I have Andrea and Maggie to thank for that! My 2 year old was able to climb into the water (I did a water birth), right after her sister came earthside and met her new sibling. She was so happy and it made my heart so full! It was exactly as I had imagined it. The amazing care continues postpartum and beyond. They made sure to stress how important it was for me to rest and recover (even though I didn't quite listen, but that's another story lol) and they support you with all things postpartum and with your breastfeeding journey. Just know they are there to answer your calls and help with any concerns or questions, and always have your best interest in mind. They were also very thorough with my assessing my baby girl and even found she had a tounge tie. They taught me how to do stretches with her to help and gave us the option of having it released if that's what we wanted. I could go on and on about Andrea and Maggie, but you just have to meet them yourselves! Trust me, you won't regret it! They are truly incredible midwives!"
"Maggie and Andrea helped deliver our beautiful baby girl this past Fall. To say they are an all-star team is an understatement. They are the most competent and able team of midwives I have come across (we interviewed many). We appreciated a primary holistic approach while also not shying away from Western medicine if asked, or if there was a need to use. Both moms and dads are at top of mind the moment you walk through the door, and their kindness and professionalism radiates through their office; you are family from the moment you meet. They are warm, compassionate, and reassuring to say the least. They always checked in on us, even after our baby was born, and were so beyond helpful in answering our questions and helping us to navigate the world as new parents. They help you to make informed decisions and hold your hand throughout pregnancy and postpartum if you need. As for lactation, they changed the game for us. They know their stuff! Our baby was having a tough time latching, but after a couple sessions and few tips, she was latched and sucking milk like a vacuum. We cannot say enough about these amazing women and mothers! Do yourself a favor. Stop your search for a midwife, you’ve found them here."
