"I’m sorry idk if the paid the people who gave this place a 5 star rating but this place is just not good. It’s dirty, it’s low budget, it’s hella expensive, the WiFi is not working properly…I mean the staff is really nice but besides that everything is really horrible…I’m from Germany and you could go to the most hideous shelter and it would still be way better than here …I know it’s hard to find a short term lease that’s how I ended up here but if you find anything else - take it!!"

"This is a great complex for many reason,: it's simple, clean, relatively quiet, close to the university, has other young students, and has GREAT staff. The staff, particularly Nathalia and Juanita, are amazing. They help all the tenants with moving in, moving out, and every day issues that arise. Without them, who knows what this place might look like! Overall, this is a great place to stay while you are in school. Highly recommended!"

"PLEASE READ THE WHOLE REVIEW After all these emails they won’t refund my 600 dollars security deposit just because I haven’t done the checkout correctly. Since when do you take 600 dollars just because of a checkout, it’s not like I burnt the whole place or break anything. Even the other students I was with didn’t get back all their money back even though they had done everything good, THEY’RE scammers. They know we live in another country so they take advantage of you and steal all your money. I never usually write reviews when I’m disappointed but this is over disappointment: I’ve been scammed and they don’t care and don’t reply to my emails. Natalia Montes is the manager of IV and hasn’t replied for over 2 months. Talking about the quality of the facility, this is literally the worst I’ve ever slept in, it says it’s equipped but the whole facility is empty and the only equipment they give you are sheets (very poor quality) plastic pillow I couldn’t sleep in and the towel, which looks like a hair towel and not bath because it’s so small. To resume, I had to buy everything at the supermarket which added useless expenses just for a 2months stay. Location wise, you clearly don’t need to stay in Riverside. All classes are online and my physical presence was almost never required at the university with the classes I took. Stay away from Riverside it’s the most boring place I’ve ever been to. If I knew I only had 3 hours of class per week I would’ve stayed in my own country. Also, if you thought the US was the country to party well definitely stay away from LA or Riverside. The UCR doesn’t F-ING care about their international students. All they want is their money. The only thing okay to do is their Recreation Center to workout and the pool, but that’s fun for a week then it becomes boring too. Also too many students there, the gym devices you wanna use are never available."

"I really like the facilities in International Village. It is especially a good fit for students who focuses on study. The furniture is simple but very function——a drawer for cloths, a desk with bookshelf and a twin size bed perfect for on person. The toilet is small but is very clean. All the facilities are relatively new and you can just check in with luggages. In addition, it always has some activities for student such as final studying session with free pizza, decorating your own vase to let you relax and make new friends. All of these things give me a sense of home. I really appreciate it as it accompany me to pass the TOEFL test and successfully got the graduate offer from my dream school as well as one-year exchange program in UCR. Also it will assign roomates from other countries as yours, letting you immerse into the international atmosphere. You can borrow simple cleaning tools such as plug and mirror cleaning with your ID card from the front desk, which will save you a lot of money. Some problems may be the late processing of ordered package, the regular strick mid-quarter sanitary inspection and the smoke dector which may be triggered frequently. But all in all, it is still a good choice."
