You can also order contact lenses from them as well. Great pricing as you can typically take advantage of a special rate when you order two pair of glasses at one time."

"Wow, my experience last week with the new optometrist at Sand City Costco was terrific! I was there two days in a row, so I met both of the doctors and two different assistants. Everyone treated me with courtesy and warmth. Everyone was super attentive and helpful. Everyone was willing to go the extra mile for me. I unknowingly arrived after they closed the first day, hoping for a walk-in, and instead of shooing me away, the male optometrist and his assistant graciously talked to me for a long time and scheduled me for the next day with Dr Le.... I like Dr Le even better than Dr Balin, the previous optometrist here at Costco, and I liked him a lot.... Dr Le is expert, thorough, and very smart. She put me at ease at once with her easy, attentive manner. She's not an automaton with canned responses or a set of phrases she trots out for every single patient. She is exactly the opposite. She's an extremely good listener; super responsive to patient needs; very personable and easy to talk to; genuine and caring. And she's punctual. Of the four local optometry practices my partner and I have tried over the years, this is the best. I highly recommend either Dr Le or her male counterpart, whose name I do not know yet. They have earned our loyal business."

"I want to commend Carla in the optical department. She was kind, attentive, professional, and most of all extremely helpful to me today. She took care of my need to contact the vision company that covers my Medicare Supplementary Plan without my having to contact the company myself. She reimbursed me directly for the insurance coverage and explained the details of the reimbursement. Carla also was able to change my prescription and resend my frames for an upgrade from basic lenses to transitional lenses without any additional steps. I truly appreciated her experienced approach and her helping me beyond what I had initially wanted. Hooray for Carla! A real asset to the Costco Optical Department in Sand City. Thank you."

"Dr. Balin is a good guy. Seems knowledgeable and thorough....although I waited more than 30 minutes. I guess thoroughness comes at a price. No big deal there. The system the opticians use needs improvement. I guess fickle customers are partially to blame. But, seems someone should be staged to simply dispense pickups. Instead, you wait. Forget it on Saturday. I was #56 and they were on #35. I left. I came back on 11/12 at 330 pm. Hardly anyone in the store. I'm still waiting after 1/2 hour. People standing and looking miffed while the staff accommodates customers in re color, or fit....or "how 'bout theeese?" Finally number 10. Took less than a minute to be handed my contacts. Frustrating. I believe you can do better."
