"DO NOT GO HERE. FIND ANOTHER DOCTOR. I'm usually not one to leave reviews as I know people have off days, but today I feel justified and even called to leave this. Please read... I called to schedule an annual physical that is covered under my insurance policy. I was told they do full physicals, which I thought was awesome. Little did I know that by "full physical," they meant an "office visit" that is NOT covered under preventative care and goes our of your deductible. I was not told this difference in coverage. When I got there, no difference in charge was mentioned. After my checkup, I got my labs and scheduled a follow up telehealth appt with the doctor. 5 minutes before my appointment, FIVE MINUTES BEFORE, the office manager, Vince, called me to tell me I owed $180 for a new patient appointment. I told him I was confused because it's a physical and it's covered. He told me because I talked about some "issues" with the doctor that it's an "office visit," but this is a scam because before I even saw the doctor, they already scheduled my appointment as a longer "office visit" and had me sign something discretely amongst other paperwork basically giving them a right to do this. No one told me anything otherwise. I told him I'd like to talk to my insurance company first and get to the bottom before paying, but that since this is my appointment time, I'd like to get to my appointment and talk to my doctor first for my lab results review. He refused to let me talk to the doctor and pressured me into paying a bill I didn't even fully understand yet. I refused to pay and had to cancel my appointment. I basically didn't even get a full physical review, but somehow am paying $180. It's just.... wrong. It's not even the money, it's the principle. On top of that, I would have had to pay an additional $140 to hear my lab results from my physical. I spoke with my insurance company, have appealed, and have filed the necessary complaints against this office. BUT please save yourself the trouble of getting scammed by them and find another PCP. I don't mind paying for a doctor's office visit, but I don't feel right doing that when they wrongfully scammed me into doing it."
