"I had a great stay, the rooms could be a little bit more clean. Attention to detail would be a plus. Other than that everyone was very attentive and helpful. It's in good to great proximity to everything."

"Hotel looks nice inside. BUT Our bathroom was not very clean. The sink had dried on white toothpaste and 2 hair in the sink. The toothpaste we use is green. I went to take a shower and the shampoo bottle was empty. I had to have my spouse find my small bottle of shampoo to use. When we moved the shower curtain there was also hair in the tub that did not seem to be cleaned. We asked for shampoo after we both took showers and to have the sink cleaned and they replaced the shampoo bottle but did not open it. We both tried to open it and could not. The shower curtain had 2 holes in it. The pool had been closed and opened while we were there and it was extremely cold and not comfortable. And there is not hot tub. Towels in the room were never replaced and we were there 3 days. We ordered a rail Old Fashioned at the bar one night and it was 13.00, I can buy an entire bottle for that! We will not return. The glasses in the room stuck to the tray, were they cleaned? If they can not clean the bathroom sink how can you be sure the room is properly cleaned?"

"Stayed there many times over the years. Breakfast has taken a huge slide for the worse in quality and service. Almost considered going elsewhere to buy breakfast. Perhaps that's the idea? Didn't get to cocktail hour Front desk and housekeeping are really friendly caring and efficient. Obvious renovation and hotel looks improved"

"Stayed in a variety of hotels in the area and this is one of the best. I am part of the Hilton Honors program which is free to join and got a decent discount when booking. Front desk worker was lovely and made things very easy and fun. Rooms are on par for the hotel, nothing fancy but it gets the job done. Hot breakfast was good and better than most. Would recommend this hotel to anyone! The hotel photos showed a hot tub but there is not one and it looks like it was covered up."

"service was excellent. The room should have been cleaned better. The drinking glass had a ring in it and the toilet seat cover had a poop smear on it . Both I had to clean myself before I used them. The food from the restaurant was delicious the service was great!. Try the pan fried walleye , crab cakes, and wings. Persons at the front desk were very accommodating 5stars to them but because of the cleaning staff I have to give the hotel experience 2.5 stars"
