"I would give this establishment more than 5 stars if I could! My reviews have over 60 thousand views and counting. The staff that works here are so welcoming and very friendly and helpful. One thing that I really like is they speak English well and I can understand them and vice versa. I've been to many other places and the staff don't even understand what I was trying to communicate. The place was very clean and the pool was great as well as the kiddie pool and hot tub. I was hoping to exercise as the details stated in the description online before coming but it was under construction so I'm sure when it's done it will be even better than prior. The breakfast was hot and great every morning we stayed and the staff would regularly restock items and food trays that were empty! I really appreciated everything about this place and I truly hope the managers and owner is pleased with their staff and each and every one of them get the recognition they deserve. I will definitely stay there again with my family. I look forward to it. Thanks again guys for such a wonderful experience"

"The staff and facilities were great. The room was newly removed with fresh paint and flooring. We had a few minor issues but they were more than made up for by the helpful and friendly staff. We really loved the pool. It was warm and we were able to have some relatively quiet fun with the family vs the craziness of the water park. Plus a nice play area for the kids. The breakfast was awesome and many thanks to the staff worker who makes it. I could see how hard she was working to keep all the yummy food coming."

"Sick of the same old? We go to the wilderness every year. It's loud & chaotic. This year we tried something different. I hate to give away the secret but.. we had the pool to ourselves a lot of the time, at the hotel. The water was so warm. We had chula Vista passes included but spent most our time on adventures elsewhere or at the hotel pool & hot tub. We were with a small group of family. Kids ranging 5-10 years old. We were happy. Free breakfast was so nice. We had it all three mornings we stayed. The variety of options is more than we've ever seen at hotels. The weekend day staff was so nice & helpful. Met the GM on Monday, you could hang out with her, she's so friendly. Hotel is small but I personally liked that better. It was exactly what we needed. We will return. The value is unbeatable. My only complaint was our room was too hot on the first floor. (We tried turning it down) wish we had a fan. My sister said hers was too cold on the 3rd floor. Oh!!! Pay for the forrest view. We seen deer. It was such a highlight for us."

"Been to this hotel three times now. Twice in 2023 (end of June and New Years weekend) and once in 2021 (July). The rooms are well cleaner and the staff is good. Great breakfast in the morning to save cost from going out, but be sure to get up earlier as the food will run out and was not much available when we got to the area at 9 one time. Indoor pool area is great with a regular pool with basketball hoops, a wading pool for the younger kids with a small side and play area. And don't forget the spa/hot tub for the adults to unwind. Free Chula Vista water park passes are also included each day - which that cost alone pays for the hotel stay."
