"Hello, I came to The Townhomes at lost Canyon on Saturday and had an amazing experience. I am moving in April and have had my eye on these townhomes for some time as they are beautiful. Edith (even being new) was so knowledgeable on the property and move in rates. I loved the places but I really have to say they are way over priced for the area. Houses are the same place or less in the area. Even with the amenities (which are awesome! Like a fireplace on the patio) I just don't feel they are priced right. Is this was $500.00 less I would defiantly would be moving in. BIG thanks to Edith Suarez!!"
"I have not been living here a whole year and I'm ready for my lease to end. To begin, I'll state some positives. The townhouse is relatively nice inside. The front office staff was nice enough during the leasing process. We liked Madison. The pool area is great and so is having a gym to workout in! Now for my negatives. The parking situation sucks! I have had guest and they have no where to park. This is embarrassing and very inconvenient. The front office staff said ask them to park across the street and walk over!!! Really!! They started making people pay for spots, people have blocked my garage on so many occasions and it is frustrating and one of the reasons I choose to reside elsewhere. Now for my biggest problem I have encountered, my air conditioner has not been working. In the DEAD OF SUMMER!!! Im pregnant and miserable hot! I will not bring my baby into this heat. I pay too much in rent to deal with this. All summer long they have sent a company out to "fix" the AC. Yet it is still not FIXED! Apparently ice is forming on the pipes and the first thing maintenance wanted to do was blame me. Saying I'm keeping my AC too low. I have it the lowest at 70 degrees at night. That would not cause it to freeze up. It never did this in the beginning of me moving here, just started. I'm done and frustrated. I would not recommend Townhomes at Lost Canyon to friends and I'm glad my lease is almost up."
"Large units, very friendly and helpful office staff but severely neglected property. Maintenance requests have to be followed up in person, there is constantly broken glass and dog crap all over the area so bad that you have to watch where you walk, drive or take your dogs out. I'd say 25% of the residents are ghetto thugs and the security firm is never around. Say what you want but the people that are allowed to rent here get worse by the year and the already severely over priced rent just keeps going up every year. We are so looking forward to moving and buying a place for many reasons but mainly so that we can avoid neighbors that allowed to invite 20 ghetto family members to the pool, thin walls, ignorant neighbors that don't clean up after their dogs, broken glass outside the garage and a pedestrian door to the "gate" that breaks 2-3 times a year. So much for paying for a "gated" property. In summary I know that the lack of class and respect demonstrated by society is not the fault of the management or rental office but when the community experiences 3 robberies in one year, a non existent security firm and cars that race thru the exit gate in order to enter, it needs to be mentioned. For the record, Chris the original maintenance manager was a huge asset and kept things in order including the residents. Fact based update 3/14/16- Pedestrian gate has been broken and unlocked for over a month now. There are way too many dogs here. It it very difficult to walk my well behaved dog due to the immense number of people that own 2 small dogs and fail to control them on the leash. Everyone is walking their dogs at the same time and it is very chaotic. Speaking of chaotic, 6:30 am Sunday morning and there are cars constantly driving in and out of the complex. The car traffic here is worse than a Costco parking lot."
