"I recently moved into my new apartment, and it's been an absolute delight! The location is perfect – convenient yet peaceful.Adriana helped us a lot with our move, she made it super easy. She is professional and helpful. The apartment's design is impeccable, with an open layout and large windows that fill the space with natural light. The kitchen is a standout, equipped with high-quality appliances and ample counter space. Amenities like the well-equipped fitness center and beautiful courtyard add to the overall appeal. "Adriana was amazing, she showed us everything she had available AND went above and beyond to make sure we qualified because we knew her and this community was the perfect match. This was the second place out of 5 we looked at and we always went back to Adriana and how much we loved her energy and how she made us feel welcome even before we signed the lease!! Thank you Adriana and burton! We owe you a lot for making this happen for my roommate and I. Also! Did I mention they are dog friendly here too?! Yea 10/10"
"I lived here from 2021 to the beginning of 2023. My primary reason for the one star review is because every month the system charged us a $15 fine for a lack of rental insurance. The problem is that I supplied documentation for rental insurance from the beginning of our stay and at no time did that coverage lapse. I eventually found out that the system was set up incorrectly, which is why I was being charged this fine on a monthly basis. If I had not spoken up, Management would have gladly and quietly taken this fee. They didn't even reach out to see if I did not in fact have insurance coverage. It's extremely fishy and fraudulent because its basically a hidden fee without merit. The kicker is that I left in the beginning of March 2023 with my rental insurance intact prior to my departure, but I still got charged the $15 fine for the month of March in my final bill. I reached out to Burton through the apartment Manager's email and requested this fine be removed, but I never heard back a response, which is very unlike him because he's usually responsive and helpful. Just this month, I received an email from a collection agency stating I had a $15 debt that was originally with Greystone (the Management company that runs this apartment complex). No one reached out to clear the bill after I left. Instead Greystone sold the debt to a collection agency and washed their hands of it. One more reason for the one star review: Management decided building a dog park in an already crowded parking lot rather than fixing the back gate, which was in consistent disarray for over a year or fix the 3rd floor's trash chute door's spring which was broken and kept the door open at all times. Pretty sure the other Manager Alexis, who herself had a large dog, decided she would make life convenient for herself when they decided to spend who knows how much money to build the unnecessary dog park."
"This apartment deserves more than five stars! As a mother, it was imperative for my family to be in a safe, quiet environment. We moved back from DC, and from the first showing at The Pointe the feeling was so welcoming. The staff (Malik at the time) and the current manager Burton were so helpful with the application process and really worked with us to get us into our now lovely home. From the scents, the soothing music, as soon as you walk in you know you want this to be your new home. And the maintenance staff is outstanding. Danny, Jesse, and Mario are so helpful and friendly. They are always ready to help when we put in a work order or even if we just need help on the spot, and the grounds always look clean and safe. The new updates they’re making to the complex look beautiful and modern. The office kept us informed every step of the way, as some of the updates involved work near the units. All of the staff have gone above and beyond when we need something and are always pleasant to chat with, really making this feel like a community. If you’re ready for some peace and quiet and want a safe, welcoming, and friendly place to call home, The Pointe is definitely for you. I know I’m probably leaving things out, because honestly there are some many good reasons to live here and enjoy it. Every tenant I’ve spoken to has lived here for longer periods of time than the average apartment dweller. Which truly speaks to the quality of living without completely breaking the bank lol. Simply put, we love it here!"
"Very noisy. I can hear every step above me. Also we have a fairly good gym in the building for tenants and it is available 24 hours a day BUT the sound from the 24-hour gym is constant. Any weight lowered and dropped on the floor can be heard like an earthquake. It is very annoying especially at nights and early in the morning times. So the problem is ? NO SPECIAL FLOORING IN THE GYM ROOM!!! PS. I respect all the guys who work out in the gym, they have the opportunity to work out in a good gym and the reason is not the guys, but the reason is that the floor must meet the standards and requirements of residential buildings. Building MANAGEMENT, please put a good rubber covering on the weight area of ??the gym. THANK YOU!"
