"678 Bellflower community offers great amenities and a cozy atmosphere. Great staff, always thorough & clean community. overall great 4.5/5 stars :)"
"Elizabeth has been excellent right from the get go --- starting from showing, to the full rental process. Very easy to get in touch with and she is always there should you need any help while moving in and thereafter. She deserves a 5 star rating just by herself. The townhomes are nice and cosy. The four and not five star rating is due to the lack of AC in the bedrooms and the very small kitchen and an even smaller dishwasher for the two bedroom townhouse. Everything else is good otherwise."
"I lived at Charter Palms, then 678 Bellflower for about 17 years. About the time Sack Management came in, I started looking for a house. I had stayed at Charter Palms because the rent was very affordable, as I had lived there for so long, and I really liked the location and my neighbors. I had only intended to stay there for 2 years, but 17 years later, I finally left. The exit process was super easy. A special shout out to Elizabeth for her great response, professionalism, and general sweet and kind nature, which made the whole process super easy and hassle free. If you communicate well with the property management, you can easily accommodate your timelines, and there were no surprises. I received my closing paperwork and reimbursement check at my new location within a month, and the final statement itemized everything. I was very pleased at how well everything was tied up. Another special shout out to Jason, who was my neighbor and the maintenance manager for most of the time I was there. Whenever I needed anything replaced or repaired, it was almost always Jason. Jason knows something about everything, is extremely knowledgeable about repairs, is always considerate when entering your home, and is also a good neighbor. Reading some of the other reviews, I have to agree that the dog park and exercise areas that were wedged between the parking structures and the dumpsters were a little weird and not heavily used. They closed up the dumpsters into what I called a "man trap" with a single entrance and no exit, so I basically stopped taking out my garbage at night due to safety issues. The improvements that the management made to the community were not always convenient for the residents, and I wish that they would provide more notice before requiring major actions like cleaning out your entire backyard to paint the fences or to comply with the new rules. But sometimes one has to be forced to act on such things, and the end result was good. That is the reason I took away 1 star. Overall, it is a nice place to live, very convenient location, the residents are good neighbors, and you can be sure your exit will be handled professionally."
"UPDATE: they said I could call and get help about this. But my call never went through. We have lived here for several years. It used to be a quiet community with lovely neighbors and helpful management team. The maintenance team lead Jason is especially responsible and helpful. Recently the property was sold to a new owner and it became extremely frustrating to live here since then. For the past several months, new management team constantly conducts very superficial renovations with high noise level. Those renovations probably help to attract new residents in the short term and raise our rent. But they will not improve our lives here. We won't be happier with the community updated the paint colors changed, or many lovely plants removed and replanted. I have to call many times before the manager finally picks up her phone. The new team tried to market an efficient and caring image but those people don't really care. We really miss the quiet and peaceful days with the old management team."
"I don't know where to start from.. I have lived in so many communities over the years and I can say very confidently that Charter Palm Town homes is one of the most well operated communities. The rent is unbeatable for Sunnyvale area for a townhome with heating, cooling and in unit washer-dryer. The houses are very well maintained and are updated time to time. Maintenance is hassle free, you can call maintenance any time and it will be fixed very quickly. Elizabeth is one of the kindest person we have ever met. She takes care of all the residents very well and treats everyone very respectfully. She always goes above and beyond to make sure the residents are happy in their home. This community is more focused on making people feel comfortable in their homes rather than going after their money. I am very proud to have called this place as HOME."
