"Dr. Laurie is very prejudice. BEWARE African Americans should stay FAR AWAY from this doctor. Or PLEASE book an appt and come here to see what I am referring to. I have worked in the medical field since 2015 so I deal with different groups of people on an everyday basis. This was the most disgusting uncomfortable environment. He downplayed my concerns, cut me off, and stood far against the wall. He did not greet us properly nor look at me while talking. He refused to do any bloodwork nor prescribe antibiotics. With a fever of 104 and pain in legs he sent us home and said take more Motrin. We are now at the emergency room getting the proper care. This will not go unresolved as I will be taking further action to report and make other minorities aware of my concerns. Update: he was hospitalized for 4 days with iv antibiotics for a bacterial infection that swelled his lymph nodes making it difficult to walk as well as a developed abscess."
