"Was looking forward to the experience but maybe got my hopes up too high. Service was not good. Our server was very impatient after I asked 3 questions. We had to wait a while before we got to order. Our server never came to check on us during the meal. Service was 2 stars because the restaurant automatically charges you 4% surcharge and 20% tip. The drink was decent, 4 stars. Salad was very delicious, 4 stars for the taste and 3 for the quantity Steak was good meat, but too rare for me and nobody asked me how it was so I couldn’t tell anyone that, 4 stars. Pasta didn’t taste good and was way too pricey for the quantity, 2 stars."

"Where to start. My partner and I tried their Mediterranean feast, which is a five-course meal. The food and flavor was amazing. The service was great, each dish was presented with so much knowledge and explanation to all of the flavors and combinations. I really enjoyed this dinner experience. We sat at the bar which gave a different atmosphere than sitting in a dining table. But I actually loved the bar setup, it gave a very modern, chic, elegant vibe."

"Ever since my husband and I moved to San Diego, the number one restaurant consistently recommended to us is Callie. We recently celebrated a special occasion with a date night at Callie, and it was a lovely experience. The restaurant is spacious, clean, and beautiful. We were seated at a quiet table near the kitchen, which was perfect. Everything we ordered from the menu was delicious: Beef Tartare, Chilled Broccolini, Aleppo Chicken, and the Harissa Lamb Chops. For dessert, we ordered both the Meyer Lemon Pavlova and Turkish Rice Pudding. Our favorite dish of the night was the Aleppo chicken; it was delicious, and we would love to come back just to have this dish again. The service was accommodating and friendly. We could not have asked for a better staff to help make our celebratory dinner wonderful. Lastly, here's a fun tip: They validate parking for the parking garage in the same building as Callie."

"Very happy to try this place out. It's a place the chef really studies on food and you can feel every single dish has his effort and knowledge in it. We had a Mediterranean feast and it was $75 per person for a 5 courses dinner. I think the appetizers are really amazing. The hummus & pita and hamachi fish are so good! The squid ink pasta is good too. I really like how the chef uses herbs. The sword fish is juicy even though it's a really difficult fish to make it delicious. The service here is amazing. My husband loved this experience. I'm not a Mediterranean food fan, but I also enjoyed."
