"Simply unbelievable & Completely disappointed with the level of care... I can vividly see how they are all about stacking as many children in the office with no regards to COVID-19 protocols and they transfer this stress 9n parents by not allowing the parents to get in the visit with their infants & children. They have a protocol that's only 1 parent is allowed but they still filled the office with many kids with 1 parent. Think about it, 20 children with 1 parent is the same as 10 children with 1 or 2 parents, even less risk exposure as it the same household. They confirmed my appointment and had us come in even if they didn't have all the due Vaccines ready for her. obviously 2 visits are better than 1 visit for the billing department. To top it off, they have another pediatrician see my daughter, other than her Pediatrician whom we've chosen, they didn't let us know ahead of time. if you want a physician office who cares, this >s not it. I wouldn't say it is majorly a physician issue but management and, ownership and ultimately the overall experience."

"Dr. Tu has treated our child since birth. When we needed help with a final vaccine being medically waived due to family medical reasons, as stated as reasons on the CDC and FDA sites, he got very defensive, rude, and refused. Telling us that our only choice is to vaccinate regardless of the fact that it could literally kill me, her mother. No concern at all. Not to mention my daughter who runs the risk of developing my health issues and this family history was completely disregarded. He accused me of lying about my health in front of my daughter, which is not only wrong, but she watches me and helps me at doctors visits of my own, giving myself injections. He upset her greatly. Take my advice and run."

"I’ve been coming to Newport children’s for four years now with my first child&now also with my second child. The whole staff are so kind&sweet/helpful. They make you feel comfortable&welcomed. Receptionist ladies are amazing! They always try to fit you in for that day if you need an appt, or at another location,they are awesome! Love every doctor there. No long waits like other offices."

"My daughter was seen by doctor Sheppard for a physical. Doctor Sheppard is very knowledgeable. She took her time and listened to all our concerns and provided great consultation. I was very pleased with the doctor. My only complaint here would be the wait time to be seen. We waited over 45 minutes to be called inside, could be a mistake by the receptionist because two patients who arrived after us were called inside before us. Then we waited another 45 minutes to be seen by the doctor once we were inside. It was a very long visit. I’m goin to give full 5 stars because my daughters have been patients here for ten years and the wait time has never been this long."

"So this place is just flat out terrible. I've been taking my daughter here to see Dr.Thu and only the first visit was decent and I think that's only because I didn't know any better. The office staff always acts like you're inconveniencing them to make your next appointment or get your paperwork on arrival. At my last appointment I waited 45 minutes past my appointment time to be taken back into a room and by the time I actually even saw the doctor it was an hour past. The doctor can never even remember if my daughter is a boy or girl or any details about her, which I think is the result of way too many patients. On top of that, he always seems rushed and doesn't bother to answer my questions or address my concerns at all. The doctors always seem to call out or be unavailable as well. And the ONLY time I took my daughter in for a sick visit, mind you it was because she has been extremely sick for a whole week and would wake up multiple times at night because she couldn't breathe, something I think would freak out any parent, her doctor acted like we wasted his time and was almost condescending to me about bringing her in. He made me feel like I was being ridiculous which you should never feel when you're just looking out for you kid. I just switched offices and I suggest you don't even waste your time on this place. It's truly awful."
