"I will never stay here again if I can help it. The rooms are very outdated and never clean. I have been here over a dozen times due to it being the cheapest in Red Wing. The bed linens are rarely changed...breakfast isn't great. Buy what can you expect for the price I guess.?.?"

"I should have read the reviews before booking. Planned a family night stay to get use out of the pool and extremely disappointed. The pool felt like a polar plunge...no exaggeration...it was the only reason we stayed there. You can tell pretty quickly the place is NOT maintained. Very, very disappointed. Spend a little extra money and stay somewhere else!!"

"Front man upon checking Friendly, helpful. Room was comfortable, fridge and microwave clean. Bathroom must have been getting some drywall work finnished, drywall powder/dust in and on tub, floor, stool, basically all in bathroom, could use ADA height stools though. Of course this is a older hotel, looks like upgrades happening to this property. I stayed 4 nights, bed comfortable, housekeeping couple friendly helpful. I'll probably rebook again. Breakfast OK, sparse, Very good strong coffee, hot and good flavor."

"Cheap price, yet beds are old. Front desk lady and owner lady are weird she walks around with her child? Their vibe is uncomfortable and disrespectful the hotel is discriminatory and breakfast is not fit for dogs I would avoid this place and instead go to Holiday inn express they treat you better and don’t call your room harassing you, in addition holiday inn express has yummy food for breakfast!! Soft Pass! Side note*maintenance guy is helpful and kind."

"Very pleasant stay. This hotel deserves much better reviews that what it has. Sure, it’s not the ritz and it’s getting old, but we felt safe and comfortable there. The beds and pillows were comfortable. Our room was quiet and had very nice black-out curtains. The rooms and linens were clean, the bathroom was updated and clean. The fridge was larger than I would expect. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast far exceeded our expectations with healthy options and even hot items. If I need a hotel in Red Wing again this will be it. And, bonus, they allow dogs for a small fee."
