"This place is not worth what they're charging to stay here $175 for one night. This place is very run down and needs considerable updating. Mold in the bathroom shower, something fell out of the vent onto the towels, exposed light bulbs in the shower area. I'll need to reconsider staying at a Choice hotel again after this experience. This place should not have been more than $50 a Night. If we had another option we would not have stayed here."

"This place is great. Nice clean place to stay. Priced right. We were in town for a wedding. Stayed 2 nights. Room was clean. Beds were comfortable. Had a small fridge & microwave in the room. Cable TV. The kids enjoyed swimming in the pool. The lobby area has comfortable chairs & tables to sit at. I would relax there & read in the morning before the family woke up so I didn't disturb them. Tasty continental breakfast. All the coffee, orange juice, apple juice, & water you want to drink throughout the day. The entire motel was clean & smelled fresh. Security cameras everywhere. Parking lot has a lot of lights on all night so your vehicles are safe. It's in a fine location very close to downtown Red Wing. Do not believe the bad reviews on here. Just remember most people don't write reviews unless they have a resentment of some sort. Very few will ever take the time to write a good review. I highly recommend staying here if you want a no thrills motel that is priced right & you like to save money like I do."

"To be honest the room smelled bad and the ac rattled. We had to get a different hotel. The wall air conditioners need maintenance."

"Credit card was double charged upon check in so now I have to wait and see if one or both of them post to my account. Room was fine, but smelled pretty musty. Bed and pillows were just OK, but air conditioning unit was almost too high to reach to turn on and to adjust. Continental breakfast was appreciated but was very minimal."

"I was extremely impressed with how accommodating management was! They really care and went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed to enjoy my stay! Great location near walking trails, the river, and all of Red Wing Minnesota's local attractions. I'll make a return visit to the Rodeway Inn."
