Dvine Mediterranean Experience

"I am pregnant and this is the only food that I have been craving and enjoying. I love the beef kebab plate and the kefta plate! The meats are always tender, juicy, and flavorful. I also love the fresh Mediterranean salad and the beet salad, but the garlic sauce with pita is probably the best garlic sauce I’ve had at any restaurant. The staff is also friendly so they’ll be seeing more of me and my husband. Thank you!"

"Momtaz!! So happy I found this place! A truly delicious and authentic taste that reminds of the best memories of food from my time in the Middle East! I am already excited to come back and try more dishes, the lamb kebab wrap with pickled vegetables was so good and the lentil soup was some of the best I’ve had in LA period! And I don’t even like lentil soup. Please help me keep this wonderful establishment going and give it a shot, I guarantee you won’t be disappointed! They have wine and baklava too!"

"My wife and I visited this place for the first time. The moment we walked into the restaurant we were greeted friendly by one of the staff. He was very nice and polite! The place was nice and quiet at the moment, it was very roomy as well and great place to hang out. My wife ordered kefta kabob plate with sumac onion and Mediterranean salad and rice, I had the fattoush salad with chicken kabob, fries, and hummus. Everything tasty so good, home made and fresh!! It’s always great to see Bobby and his staff. Thank you for your great service!! If you want great Mediterranean food, don’t hesitate to stop by."

"The food is amazing. Everytime I order something I say, 'this is the best' and then the next time I order something else I say, 'no, THIS is the best.' You can't go wrong here! Today I tried the shrimp. It's AMAZING as is the lentil soup. Oh, and that garlic sauce? Sooo good. I'm not sure what other reviewers were saying about there being no a/c here. They definitely have air conditioning; it feels great inside. Apologies on the pictures. I couldn't wait to dig in so the shrimp kebab actually comes with seven and the kubeh comes with two. Lastly, it is very reasonably priced for how much food you get."

"Was very excited to try this place out. The pita burger was awful. Soggy and fell apart and just tasted... Bad. Kinda bland, and flavor was off. Meat was dry - and was not true shawarma, just chunks of meat, clearly not fresh cut from the turning spit (don't know if they even have a spit set up to cook with). Pita bread quality seems store bought/not made in-house. Might try this place again sometime, but if we do, we're definitely steering clear of any pita burgers or "shawarma" on the menu. Staff was friendly and very helpful with explaining the large menu. Just unfortunately disappointed, but at least better prepared now, if we do go back someday. Update: i tried to salvage the pita burger, putting the meat into a new pita. the shawarma is officially inedible. It tasted sour. Neither of our cats will eat the meat. We ended up throwing it away, such a gross mess. We are very unlikely to return."
