"~ Constant changing of the property manager creates an environment in which you cannot ever get anything done in your apartment. If your bathroom fan breaks it takes over a month to get it replaced. If your toilet runs and makes noise, they will somehow break your flusher. If you need an air conditioner replaced for 6 years, they will tell you that it 'seems to be working to them.' If you need them to fix the area above your front door so that, in the Winter, it doesn't leak and cause your door to swell to the degree in which it becomes impossible to close without throwing your full weight into it, they won't do anything about it. The last maintenance person we had was being dismissive of my mother's concerns about her apartment and this one humors her but still never does what he is supposed to do, like sanding before painting or screwing the bathroom fan cover into the ceiling instead of having it clip in like all the previous ones, otherwise I would not have to hear her complain about it to the point where I make this review posting. I really wish that we had one of our older managers back, because although they were strict, at least they made sure things got done and got done properly. Now it just feels as though the more than fortunate owners of the complex are just coming around every so often to collect instead of make anything better. The second to most recent manager(s) installed loads of security equipment so that our rent would go up and now I can't get my toilet to flush properly, and I still can't get a new air conditioner, VERY UNHAPPY these sad days. The people that they've been renting to lately are either immigrant families or old drug addicts who try to pass judgement on you while you're trying to do laundry. Speaking of laundry, they all leave their clothes in the dryers regardless of the fact that there is very clearly a sign inside saying not to do so... two days a week yard care people and way too many children per apartment, running around screaming outside making it impossible to sleep in on your days off. The community room hasn't been approachable in a decade... So beware, you enter this place at your own risk. If you want misery then step right inside. It's almost like the place that I've been living in for 20 years has become a totally different place and every new manager and maintenance person totally unreliable and every new tenant an old bat addicted to meth trying to talk to you just because you both are forced to live in this little piece of religiously run socialism. The window areas in the living rooms are so large that you cannot easily open or close them and it makes it so that when you have an inspection, nothing can be in front of the windowed wall, because it is more of a window than a wall... The outside walls of the buildings are also warping and I cannot remember the last time they repainted the doors or the railings... The lights come on around the complex before it even gets dark and half the time they are not on when it is dark. They run the sprinklers in the winter some years... And, I am pretty sure there is mold in every unit. Some people here have had roaches. Some BROUGHT them here, but, I won't mention names, even though I know full well who it was. While most apartments these days have pools, we have never had a pool. They need to put a drinking fountain outside, it has always been like being at a park without a drinking fountain. (EDIT: Someone drove their car into a power line pole down the street and of course, it only affected our tiny area and now the timers for the property lights are all whacked out and no one wants to fix them... it already been a week... and to think I finally got used to sleeping with these new property lights they put in from the last manager, that make you think it's daytime outside, from the glow seeping in through your blinds... Why can't things just work or be normal, what was wrong with the way things used to be? There was nothing wrong. People everywhere seem to be trying to fix what IS NOT broken ad not fixing the actual problems. ~"
