"Thoroughly enjoy this park for hiking, and my nieces and nephews love to enjoy the playground while I'm on the trails. The trails that have a trailhead here are part of the Baird Creek Trail system and are easy to follow. A bit of warning, there are a lot of side trails created by human foot traffic and part of the trails before the system was established."
"All time favorite park that I have came across so far that's not too far of a drive from me. I enjoy they're nature trails and wood the most"
"Great park. Lots of shade and seating. Nice open pavillion. Base ball diamond, basketball court and a horseshoe pit. Saw a map for the trails but didn't get to explore. I didn't notice a bathroom but I wasn't looking either."
"What an absolutely beautiful location! We had a guided nature walk this morning that was 2 1/4 hours. With our late spring (it was May 10th) this year we ended up seeing spring wildflowers in 82 degree weather. There were dogtooth violets as I know them also called trout lilies, spring beauties, hepaticas and blood roots. There was skunk cabbage which I had never seen before and mayapples. It had rained a bit last night so trails were damp. We did a lot of hiking up and down hills. I wore walking shoes but did slip once! I would probably bring a walking stick if I went again. We walked the brown trail. I would recommend you bring the trail map with you as there were a couple places it branched of which could result in a longer and even more difficult adventure."
"Great park all year round! Access to Baird's Creek Trails, nice sized playground with newer equipment, pavilion with shelter available, picnic tables and grills available, a few recreational fields, plenty of parking, and a free ice skating rink in winter! It's also dog friendly, which is uncommon for the area."
