Wequiock Falls County Park

"Great small space to do a little exploring with kids. Spent around 40 minutes there. Wear water friendly shoes if you want to go down and see more up close."

"Visited this spot with my son during a road trip in 2022. Was about early June and when we arrived, the trek to the waterfall wasn't too difficult. The river was very low and we didn't get to see the waterfall in all of its glory. It had been exceptionally dry and hot. Was still really cool to see and the artwork and graffiti all over the rock faces were very interesting to look at. Would've loved to see it after a hard rain! My son and I still enjoyed the little journey and the experience. Would not recommend to anyone who may have difficulty walking or climbing. There is an overlook bridge for others to look from. There is a picnic area, playground and bathrooms a stones throw from the bridge. I didn't notice any signs about dogs but I'm sure its fine as long as they are leashed."

"Unique little place to stop on a road trip and stretch your legs. Steep stairs to walk down to the viewing deck. Was dry when we were there so no waterfalls to see but can walk down into the dry river bed and explore."

"Beautiful waterfall. Very picturesque and most likely only flows heavily during the Spring and during heavy rains. There are many rock steps down to a wooden walkway/bridge to view the falls head-on. Many locks on the walkway chain link fence. Don't know what that's all about, but have seen this done a few other places. For me it takes away from the beauty of nature that's why only a 4 out of 5. Interesting holes in some trees."

"Beautiful place. Haven’t been here in way to long. Was here on 10/11/22 Took some photos and walked around. If u want to have out on either side of the bridge there is parking and they have picnic tables and the grill. This little park is a hidden gem. Very pretty, peaceful and grounding. The pics I did take do not do this beautiful place justice. Until the next review, Steve-O out"
