"I believe Nickel Creek was a great benefit for Ramona residents and potential residence. It is a beautiful Community where I've learned that the residence there really collaborate amongst each other to make it a family environment. The community was great on Halloween passing out candy to non-residents also."

"I’ve lived in Nickel Creek for over 3 years now. It’s a quiet, secluded neighborhood feel within walking distance to a grocery store, coffee shop and restaurants. The community is friendly and welcoming. There are several dogs and young kids it would be nice to have a little park area for both to play. The complaints I’ve read from others seem to have been from during construction. All of that is finished, parking seems to be figured out. You get a garage and a parking spot or in some cases just a garage. Be aware guest parking is only for guests and homeowners are given a guest pass to help regulate this. We love our home and neighborhood and it is a great value for a fairly new build in San Diego."

"A great place to live! The community has 45 homes, just big enough to have a nice blend of homeowners, yet small enough for people to know their neighbors. Nickel Creek residents have their own Facebook page, where we can easily communicate with one another (ask/offer help, share a recipe, etc). The property looks great! The landscaping is well maintained and the trees are maturing nicely.. Most of all, it's the great people who make Nickel Creek a terrific place to live."

"Parking, Parking, Parking. This place charges a $230 HOA Fee. I'm not sure where the money goes as there are no amenities I know of. There's no pool, no gym, and definitely no parking enforcement. Living in this community will leave you frustrated. Most of the time my garage is blocked in and my assigned parking space is taken by construction workers. They are always rude and never care that you have nowhere to park. Today there was a fence about 18 feet long in the roadway. They blast music from early hours of the morning and work into the night. Kire Builders hasn't helped. They claim they contract out to outside workers. HOA finally posted a tow away sign yet they never provided any residents with vehicles stickers or placards. Therefor, the tow company doesnt who can park where or who is a resident in the community. I could go on and on but I'll save you from reading any further. Spend your money elsewhere."

"These homes are nice, and reasonably priced for San Diego, but like another reviewer, parking is an absolute, unnecessary nightmare. Multiple complaints have been brought against all involved - the contracting company, the HOA, but nothing has been done. It's outrageous to continuously charge people exorbitant rates for HOA and parking to have neither fulfilled. Something that should be noted to the BBB. It leaves a bad name for the developer, the construction company, and the HOA company."
