Reviews of Echo Pointe Apartments
"Overall, I would not recommend these apartments. First things first, there was a young woman who posted a review on here mentioning the constant contractors coming in and out (for the roof, dishwasher installs, etc) and she voiced valid concerns. Her low rated review is now gone. Hmmmmmm The good: -Affordable (rent for a 2x2 was $2280 not including utilities as of September 2021) -Though poorly executed, there were several improvements to the complex during my lease. Improvements to the roof, added horizontal blinds, painted front doors, and a new dishwasher installed. The Bad: -Dirty/scuffed floors upon move in. (See photos) -Maintenance. Every single maintenance request I sent via email and it would take a minimum of 2-3 weeks for someone to come by. We had an instance of water damage in the guest bedroom, and it was taken care of semi promptly but they refused to replace the carpet. -Charges a fee for online rent payment -No drop box for rent checks -1 water heater covers 4 units and is NOT individually metered, meaning it is split among all 4 units. Water/trash bill was roughly $115-130 per month. -minimal counter space in kitchen (see photo) -Too often, there is staff/contractors entering the units. 2x per year for an inspection, again for termites, again for painting, again for blinds, again for dishwasher. It was never ending. Really annoying. The ugly: -Other tenants…(we had consistent parking issues with regards to a fire lane directly in front of our unit), many people who refused to pick up dog poop, and our upstairs neighbor actually was arrested for domestic violence at one point. There was also a dog consistently kept outside on a balcony who’s feces would fall onto my front patio. Can’t fault the complex too much there. But I find it odd how I, an active duty military member, had a hard time getting approved without a co-signer and the people that live here aren’t exactly model citizens. -Office hours/staff. The staff was generally kind enough but just seemed overwhelmed. Only 2 maintenance folks for the whole complex seemed like not enough. And if the one person running the office is on lunch, good luck. They often had a sign stating “be back in 15” and would not return for over 45 mins.."
"Kevin is the manager here and he is great . He has always took care of anything I have needed . The maintenance people are wonderful and always fix anything that I need as well . They all are so friendly. I just think the world of those guys . The only thing I would change is I wish they had guest parking and maybe special parking for long term residents. Lol . Kevin follows through when a complaint is made . Thank you sir."
"Loved living in the apartment complex! Joey and his staff were always available and made sure every residents needs were met right away. Couldn’t have asked for a better property manager to go to with any issues or concerns. The apartments were updated and clean upon move in day, which was great! It is very dog friendly with a lot of grass area for them to roam around in and pretty secure as they have security make rounds every night. Definitely recommend this place."
"I love living here! At first I didn't care about the location personally, but the staff is what help to sell me after visiting numerous apartment communities, most of the office staff were rude, passive, or in a hurry. The staff here is warm and friendly and Joey is always willing to go the extra mile. The grounds are kept pretty clean. I'm glad I chose this place!"
"I'm giving five stars mainly for management. Joey is doing a great job at the property. I've been here since 2011. Seen management come and go. Used to be hard to even get the previous mgmnts to answer the phone or return one. But I'm able to call and he answers and gets the problem solved. Recently I transitioned from two bedrooms to three. He made the move go real easy. The apartments are nice and spacious. The grounds are very well kept even with the dogs. Very quiet and nice place to live."
