"The tone in which you speak to your prospective renter matters. It’s unclear why I received attitude from simple questions. Please cancel my upcoming tour."
"We lived here right when they were leasing up and moved out at the conclusion of our lease. We had a top floor unit facing the ocean and it was great. The units themselves were really well thought out with the flex work space and room for a kitchen table. The tiles on the patio and in the shower were a really nice touch and something you don’t see often. The appliances were awesome and the laundry room in unit with top of the line washer and dryer was also a nice touch. My only complaints here were parking IMO sucked and the spaces were tiny. I got two dings in my new vehicle and I always had a corner spot. It feels like they just painted them for a Fiat it felt like or a Schwinn scooter! My other huge issue with this place were the dogs. Not sure why everyone and their mother has a dog in an apartment but if you are one of those people and your dog yaps and yaps and barks constantly when you’re not home, you shouldn’t have a dog. Nobody wants to hear their yapping all day when you’re at work. We had neighbors that moved in below one floor and over and their dogs barked literally all day when they were gone. It was ridiculous. I complained a bunch of times and the office staff walked over there a couple times and even heard it but really nothing changed. When you’re working from home or just want peace of mind it gets bothersome when these yappers bark all the time. Other thing I hated, and this is more of an SD issue than anything but was the homeless people right outside the gate on 3rd and on the walking path right outside our patio on the hill. We saw people screaming, lighting fires at night to stay warm, a crazy dude always walking around with a literal whip, people naked on the sidewalk, people going to the bathroom, you get the point. It was super disturbing and trashy. Again not a Camden issue but it surrounded the building on our side and 3rd. Better in this area than downtown or East Village but still a concern. Overall nice place and on top floor we didn’t hear a thing next to us or through the walls. I did hear from a guy we knew that lived there and moved to top floor that the footsteps sound like elephants are above you if you’re not on top floor. Can’t speak to it personally but did hear that from a few people."
"PROS & CONS: Other previous tenant reviews are accurate. We never saw such high turnover in tenants as we had here! We counted 13 apartments vacated within a year, that we knew of. The complex has a sterile, institutional appearance that can be off-putting to some. The "vibe" here is a bit chilly and quiet. Many, if not most tenants appear to work from home, so the parking lots are nearly full. Tenants are respectful but keep to themselves, so it does not feel as much like a "community" as we had hoped. Many have one or more dogs, which has created a number of waste management and loud barking issues. Numerous delivery thefts and lost packages seen posted in the online Resident Portal. Quite a few changes in office staff as well. You just never know who is going to be in the office, as there are always new faces that the office doesn't bother to announce. The apartments are spacious, but the heavy apartment doors slam creating a booming sound! The hallways are spacious but have a cheap "dorm" style color scheme. gym spaces are good. The Community Room is beautiful, but no one really uses it. We almost felt like they didn't want us in there, as the 24 hr security comes in and checks. The pool is nice, but small. It will get a bit crowded during the summer holidays. Some tenants bring their own umbrella because there is no shade from the intense sun. Also, bees love the pool for some reason. One landed on my head and stung me while I was in the water. The Sky Deck is rarely used, perhaps due to no shade or awnings. The outdoor kitchen is nice, there are two grilling stations and sink. The views are wonderful, especially in the outdoor spaces. The appliances and interior finishes are very nice. There are a number of homeless that live outside the perimeter fencing that routinely travel down the street, leaving shopping carts and trash. There is a paid trash valet service that comes to pick up your trash at night, but it is a bit weird to leave your trash outside your door. Not everyone pays for this option. Overall, this place has a feeling of impermanence, like it's temporary. Luxury means different things to everyone, and this complex delivers on some points. Ultimately, we moved to a less expensive new apartment that feels cozier. Real identity withheld to protect privacy."
"The ultimate luxury experience! Keyless entry's, breathtaking views, and a Vegas style pool. If you are looking to get away from the downtown hustle, but still want the amenities, this is your place. The manager Ana is professional yet down to earth and the maintenance staff Bey & Luis always have a smile and acknowledge your presence. It is an oasis on the hill! Worth every Penny Camden!"
"We have been here since July and absolutely love it! Anna, the manager is great and so is the maintenance team- Bey and Luis. Their customer service really is top notch! The apartments are beautiful and spacious. The amenities are awesome and so are the views from the property. Most of the neighbors are super friendly and it really does feel like a community here. We love the location. It’s also a huge plus having the security team here!"
