"1. One star for a beautiful location. 2. One star for nice facilities. 3. One star for a safe community. 4. Minus one star for unresponsive staff. I have tried to contact the leasing office multiple times about noise disturbances above me with no response. I also routinely wait weeks for completion of maintenance requests. 5. Minus one star for poor construction in a luxury apartment complex. I can easily my neighbors above, beside, and below me. Edit: I talked to the community manager, Stephanie, about the unresponsiveness and the excess noise. We had a productive conversation. Plus one star for Stephanie working with me to find a solution."
"Warning to future residents: The storage units onsite in the hallways are repeatedly broken into. The suspect could either live on the premise or have unauthorized access to the building. There are no security cameras in the hallways. I would advise not to leave anything of value inside of them, as theft occurs frequently. This has been raised to Sola management for awareness. No precautionary measures have been taken. To note, all storage units are accessible by maintenance and management personnel. They have two sets of keys. Therefore, nothing placed inside remains private and / or secure. For example, flooding occurred in the hallway, and no notification was made to the tenent who occupied that storage unit. It was opened by maintenance personnel/ contractors and left open and unlocked for several days. Someone who lives within the complex, works here onsite, or has unauthorized access to the building will wait for opportunities as such to steal repeatedly from the storage units located on the 1st floor in building 13350. Management does not like to review security footage nor provide proof that they have reviewed security footage or make an effort to show empathy to its tenants who have experienced theft. One would think that in such a nice neighborhood with high rent costs that theft would not be occurring, or the complex would have better surveillance footage of the issues reported. Greystar owns and operates these properties. They are a successful commercial real estate firm. What can be done other than filing an insurance claim and a police report? Who can be held accountable in a situation as such? Sola, Greystar? The photos show pictures of the flood and the corresponding storage units that were left open by maintenance/contractor personnel, resulting in continuous theft."
"I lived at Sola for 2.5 years and I can't say enough good things about the property. I've lived in many apartment buildings, and Sola easily takes first place. It's a great community and the proximity to The Village shopping center is so convenient for pretty much all of your basic needs! The amenities at Sola are also great, including the pool, hot tub, fitness center, and community room. I actually took advantage of the apartments amenities which I can't say is true for some of my prior apartments. The location is great as well being right off the 56, giving easy access to North County SD along w/ areas south. You can't beat a 10-15 min drive to some of the best beaches (including Torrey Pines and Del Mar). During my time as a resident, property management transitioned to Greystar and it was great to see some of the broken amenities quickly taken care of. The leasing office/property management staff were always very responsive when I reached out with questions and maintenance issues were almost always resolved within 48hrs for non-urgent items. There is a cleaning crew that cleans the external and internal parts of the building daily. The community is also extremely quiet and safe. Honestly, I have mixed emotions to be leaving this place, but will be happy for all of the great memories!"

"Sola has exceeded our expectations! Thanks to Tina who in a short lunch break was able to give us all we needed to make a sound decision. We've not regretted a day here and are so thankful for our new home. It's conveniently located in #pacifichighlandsranch shopping center which makes Trader Joes, Starbucks, Rite Aid and numerous other restaurants shops and businesses all within a stroll away from our front door! The interior design is beautiful with amenities that make day to day living so much easier! Our unit feels open and bright with our in room washer/dryer and assigned parking. The conference room/office space, club house, 2 story gym, jacuzzi / lap pool and dog spa/dog run are the added 'extras' that are well designed and thought of, making our stay here all that much better. It's a 5+++ star rating from our family for sure!"
