"It was expensive and the staff were rude. Day 1 we encountered roaches and rats. The facility is pretty, but if you walk in the grassy areas, expect to find dog poop. Have to beg to get any repairs or termination of pests. We had a leak that left damage to personal property, and they couldn't care less. Don't rent here. They don't care about you or your well-being or your property. The playgrounds are outdated and unsafe. The parking is a nightmare, if you get home after 6pm you'll have to park far and walk, if you get home after 12am expect to have to park outside of the facility or across the complex."
"Believe the previous rat reviews ! You can hear them I’m the walls and ceiling.. they will come into your apartment…"
"I absolutely love it here. I’m kind of surprised by all of the negative reviews. The employees have always been very helpful and kind. Anytime I’ve had a maintenance issue, maintenance shows up right away to take care of the problem. The amenities are great as well. As far as robberies and such, I haven’t had any issues thank goodness and I personally feel pretty safe in my home! I’m happy to call this home. I recommend giving it a shot! My one and only complaint would be the limited parking. This is why I am giving 4 stars and not 5. You have to be strategic to get a spot close to your unit but other than that, this place is great."
"Pros: It's a really convenient location: close to LLU, grocery stores, and the 10. The whole complex is really pretty and has lots of trees and is great for walking around. I almost always felt safe even walking at night. We sometimes accidentally left our garage open and nothing was ever stolen (granted we mostly had empty boxes there). None of our packages were ever stolen from the front porch. The facilities are decent and reasonably well kept. We never used the pool because it was always so packed with kids in the summer, but we used the hot tub somewhat often. It was kind of annoying to get kicked out at 10, but after they got new security they never bothered to tell us to leave. Maintenance usually came pretty quickly after we put in a request. I usually requested that my husband or I be home when they came because we had a pet. We really liked having 2 1/2 bathrooms, a garage, and a washer/dryer. Cons: Pricy considering the condition of the apartments. Our apartment was newly renovated before we moved in, but there were still some holes in the walls and cabinets and water damage in some areas of the under sink cabinets. The tennis courts were really popular for people to let their dogs run around in and sometimes the owners wouldn't pick up the dog poop which was pretty gross. The door stopped closing after awhile and wasn't ever fixed. Our AC dripped upstairs the first week or so we lived there (moved in August) and it took maintenance a while to fix it properly. We also didn't have working heat the first year we lived there. The light in the downstairs bathroom went out right after we gave our 30 day notice to move out. We put in a maintenance request and no one ever came to fix it for the entire month we still lived there. There are homeless people who go through the garbage, but they don't really cause any problems. Parking was hard to find at night and even though it's part of the lease you sign that you have to park your car in the provided garage, most tenants use their garage for storage and not for parking. Management occasionally sent out emails, but never enforced anything. They did a porch light installation and made a huge mess in the entry way that they never came and cleaned up. When they finished they left the front door wide open. I was upstairs while they were working and heard them leave. I noticed that my AC kept running and running and when I went downstairs the door was wide open and the worker had been gone for almost 45 minutes. The key to my house was still left in the door! I closed the door and someone came by and collected them about an hour later. If I hadn't been home my front door would have been open for almost 2 hours. They do make you clean the entire apartment before you move out. We forgot to wipe down the fridge and microwave (they were not bad at all, maybe a few crumbs) and were charged $137 to clean them which is pretty ridiculous. The pet deposit was like $500 per pet and $50 a month which is really steep. They charge $75 for enzyme carpet cleaning when you move out. They have a lot of dog breed restrictions. There's often dog poop around the complex. They have three little doggie bag stations but the poop bags are usually not stocked and the trash cans don't have lids so it's often smelly and when it rains it collects water which is gross. We could hear squirrels or mice running around in the walls almost every night. The entry gate broke about once a month. People were always driving in through the exit because they didn't want to put in their code. There was almost an accident one morning when someone tried to drive through the exit and someone leaving panicked and almost reversed into the person behind them to try to avoid the oncoming car. Management was told about the incident, but nothing ever happened. Most other complexes have spikes or something to prevent people from going in the wrong way. The safety patrol or whatever they're called is a joke. They just sit in a parking spot all night."
"DO NOT RENT HERE! I lived at Oasis for 5 years and my experience has left a lot to be desired. In fact, I'm appalled at how I've been treated after paying rent on time with no late payments. I have been served a Notice to Pay or Quit for $147 (3 days of rent) on a unit they are well aware will be vacant in two weeks. The staff is completely unhelpful and sometimes even rude...when they actually answer the phone or return a phone call. After I reported a roof leak several times, nothing was done and my ceiling caved in with moldy drywall and insulation everywhere in my home. I was forced to live with this for a day, take a day off of work, and had property damage that they refuse to speak to me about. My garage opener didn't work for five days after leaving numerous messages for both office and emergency numbers with no response. I was without my vehicle with no compensation and again a refusal to discuss it when I finally spoke to someone. However, they claim that no garages are permitted to be used for storage and a vehicle must be housed in them. That's a joke since they claimed they would enforce this regulation and absolutely has done nothing about it. I had a rat infestation in existence upon move in that took a year and a half to eliminate (after cutting holes in my downstairs ceiling) after numerous calls and complaints to the office. My garbage disposal didn't work for 3 years after many visits by maintenance which took an exponential number of phone calls to get them to my apartment. My kitchen drawer has always been broken after repeated attempts to have it repaired and instructing them on how to repair it. Vehicles have been towed without proper notification. They lied to me at the beginning stating I was allowed to have a TV satellite dish but when I came to sign the lease, it said I could not install a dish - even though there's many many dishes installed on the buildings throughout. This has been the worst rental experience. I am a professional in the Property Management industry and if I was in charge of this office, I should expect my employment to be terminated."
