"Valencia is awesome it was a pleasure having her as our apartments manager for the 2 years we were there we had a 1 bedroom on the opposite side of the office it was great our rent was very low and we never had any problems it wasn’t until February1st when we had moved into apt 56 on the office side that we had a roach problem and immediately moved out because it was not livable condition . I’m writing this so that hopefully the owner or whoever can get a hand on the issue ,which after reading the reviews has been going on for years . No one deserves to live with roaches ."

"I was a tenant and several things stick out in my memory of these apartments. The first being the absolutely unprofessional, disrespectful, incompetent manager Valencia, I’m guessing the qualifications to acquire her position were very low because every interaction with her was most unpleasant and entirely useless because she wasn’t capable of resolving any of the issues brought to her and her disrespectful attitude made me avoid her like the plague. She isn’t capable if resolving problems she is quite capable of creating additional problems however. It’s no coincidence several people have similar things to say. The reviews praising her specifically are quite suspect remember anyone can create an account and post a review, she has to fill the time she’s supposed to be working with something maybe that’s it. The roaches are out of control I requested pest control more than 8 times and unfortunately the problem is so bad getting ahead of the game is basically impossible, conditions would improve for a few days and then the population would be back at max. I threw away all my furniture when moving ,the infestation destroyed it. To address the review by Ashwood Apartments if the plumbing is that problematic and outdated it needs to be replaced, leaving tenants without hot water for several days, sewage smell coming from the drains and your manager answering peoples concerns with “ well you’re just gonna have to wait until it gets hot” no kidding that’s what we’ve been doing… waiting. When tenants pay for water and gas waiting for days while breathing noxious smells is unacceptable and that’s not just how it is, it needs to be replaced o"

"Be cautions moving in here the price of rent might be cheap but sometimes it’s better to pay more for something else, most likely better. First and foremost I have seen previous comments about the manger Valencia and the owner Judy I have had numerous problems with them both because of the water. And Valencia is just miserable. The water here is terrible (we had to pay for water by the way), the water pressure is very low, every other day the water gets shut off without notice. Your lucky if your unit gets hot water. Several other tenants and myself have complained on many occasions no one does anything of course. When the water doesn’t get hot Valencia says to wait until it gets hot, which can be the whole day without hot water. And I have children. I can go on and on complaining but I hope that this helps others when looking for an affordable apartment. These people are slum lords."

"Valencia does a great job on the up keep here at Ashwood.. I'm seeing on the reviews about roaches.. I have yet not to see one in my apartment. I also have pretty good neighbors not to mention it's pretty much quiet. The only thing is.. there's no central air. However otherwise it's not a bad place to live. I actually feel safe and happy here. Maintenance I on top of things as well."

"I have been a resident at the Ashwood Apartments since 2012 and the staff on site is very polite and courteous . Valencia is a great manager, she is on top of her job and very knowledgeable about the property. The rent is Affordable the the area is decent, the maintenance guys are respectful and professional especially Levi. I would recommend this place to anyone that is looking for an affordable place to call home. A major plus i like about these apartments is the washer and dryer hookup on your patio!!!!!!"
