Reviews of Woodbury Court Apartment Homes
"UPDATE1:the would-be-leaving manager Chris is a polite and responsible person. She offered rent concession when we found out about the carpet and she offered an exception after our bad move-in experience which enables us to leave early without paying the lease termination fee. I am keeping my fingers crossed and hoping that the new manager will honor the agreement when we send the notice to leave. Avoid Woodbury Court at all cost. We were looking for an apartment with full hardwood style floor as we really really didn’t like carpet and we came across a listing at Woodbury Court. We couldn’t have a physical tour as we were not local so we asked for confirmations on the floor multiple times because this was the one thing that really really mattered to us. Every single time we were reassured that the apartment is full hardwood style floor. On the day of move-in, we learned the apartment is still carpet and they made a mistake in the listing. They apologized, make a monthly rent reduction and a one-time rent concession. we did our best to convince ourselves that the incorrect apartment description was just a one-off. However, the first a few days after we moved in strongly suggested otherwise. May I ask if anybody at all made sure the apartment is move-in ready? Here is a list of of issue we encountered after we moved in: 1. Washer didn’t work. 2. AC didn’t work in one bedroom. 3. Dishwasher didn’t work due to the missing lid of main wash. 4. Large windows had bad springs and were very hard to slide. 5. Small windows didn’t fully close. 6. Burners of stovetop were hard to ignite. How is it even possible for some of the items to be missed during pre-move-in inspection on your end? The washer issue could have been easily spotted if someone just gave it a test run. The dishwasher issue could have been easily caught if someone just opened it, there’s no way one couldn’t see the missing lid. Every single day last week, somebody came and fixed something and it’s continuing this week. I lived in a few apartment community and this is the shockingly worst experience I ever have. The technicians that came did what they could to make up for what was not done but unfortunately the apartment condition was simply too too far away from being move-in ready. And more importantly, you don’t get to be a hero by fixing what you mess up."
"Complex is wonderful and always takes care of whatever is requested. David in the leasing office is always amazing and if something is out of his control, he ALWAYS makes sure to connect back when he does have a solution!"
"Eventually everything will break! During the recent heat wave my AC unit died several times over the course of several days. Both David & Khriz responded to quickly resolve the issue. Ultimately there is an issue that cannot be resolved by the local maintenance team; however, they have pulled in resources to get a permanent resolution. David and Khriz continually check in to make sure the unit is running smoothly until a perm fix is completed, which is sincerely appreciated."
"It's been 7th years living at Woodbury Court and I feel comfortable, secure and happy. It's located very close to the shopping center with almost everything I need, its landscaping makes me feel like a resort and most of all, leasing officers including maintenance crews are very professional and nice. Recently the resident portal has been updated, and I had a problem to login to pay rent while I was in abroad. I was worried but I could keep communicating with David at the leasing office. David reassured me and updated the situation which made me relieved. When I returned home, I also talked to Christine, the manager at Woodbury Court. Christine listens to all my difficulties and truly understands the situation. David kept working with IT department and finally resolved the issue for me. Christine and David tried their best, they didn't leave the issue behind. I appreciate your help! This is what makes me feeling 'at home.'"
"I lived in an apartment at Woodbury Court for two years in total. During this time I had many good and bad experiences, but enjoyed the area and the proximity to things. This property specifically has terrible managers. Upon move out I was informed that I would be charged for appliance replacements totaling $2000 because there was a roach infestation that I was 1. unaware of and 2. am not even confident existed. When I requested pictures as proof I received PICTURES OF ANOTHER APARTMENT! Their response to me pointing this out has been that they "consider the matter closed". Clearly they are either lying or just generally incompetent. Either way, consider this a warning that they will try to put you on the hook for their own replacement costs. I should also mention that I had no assumption that I would get my security deposit back. I have two dogs and a young child so it wasn't perfect upon move out. They are trying to charge an addition $2000 ON TOP OF THE DEPOSIT. This is just the tip of the iceberg... There are many other communities in the area that I'm sure have better management practices."
