"I have lived here for over a year and have really enjoyed it, until new management came along. I’ve been trying to get stuff fixed around my apartment since late August with little to no response from maintenance or the property managers themselves. They send out notices late and have poor communication with tenants. I love my neighbors and community but I may have to say goodbye if changes aren’t made."

"If i could put 0 stars that still wouldn't be a fair rating. I lived here for almost 3yrs until we were forced to move out for no reason given by Management company Lyon Living who run Casa Madrid apartments. Calling lyon living a management company is really degrading to real professional managment companies who actually do their job as hired. Within the first year the property switched managers 4 times and the managers were hardly ever on site maybe 2 times a month and never kept there word when requesting things!. When we moved in there were 3 washers and 3 dryers in a locked room and that only lasted acouple month before 1 of each broke. We ask multiple times to have them fixed or replaced due to residents having to wait on each other and the working dryers were so bad you had to pay 2 to 3 times just to get a decent dry. The washers and dryers just got replaced with new ones 2 weeks before we moved out! There have been break in to our garages and police reports taken and Lyon living did nothing to help prevent or care for the residents with garages. We were going to sign a 3rd lease term since the location of the apartment and rent amount wasnt so high c9mpqred to other apartments in cypress and Lyon living sent us out a new lease agreement. However acouple weeks before signing we had a major flood from our upstairs neighbors toilet that forced us to move out for 7 days so they could fix our ceilings. We were told none of our personal stuff would be touched and pictures were taken by Erica our current property manager. 4 days into the repair we stop by the property to get mail and as i walked past our door i notices all my professional computer equipment and tower were mover laying on the floor with drywall dust every were. After complaining about that and multiple other legit issues they revoked our new lease agreement and kicked us out with no reason. We have always paid rent on time and never cause problems beside confronting them on issues that they as property managment should take care of. Lastly there have been several tenants that have broken there lease and stiffed lyon living for rent because they are that bad at there job! Please dont let the location or cheap rent for cypress fool you into renting here. They are all helpful and nice when you meet them but once you sign the lease say a prayer because gett8ng help for stuff is a nightmare."

"STAY AWAY FROM HERE!!! I really want to caution anyone considering applying to this apartments from doing so. My wife and I had a terribly bitter experience and the least I can do is spare you from the horror and suffering we experienced. We're newlyweds who just moved from east coast and are just trying get on our feet here in Cali. We found out there was an opening, applied to the apartments, got accepted and stopped the apartment search process. A week before our move in date we were told the tenant decided to stay and we were left on the street! The apartment we were leaving had already been leased and so we had nowhere to go. They should not have put the unit on the market until the tenant had moved out. So if you're the kind of person that enjoys being deceived, by all means, apply."

"From initial look and feel it it looks like a great apartment for fairly less price. I stayed for almost two year and the apartment and maintenance is good but the management is not doing a good job. There is a leasing office but nobody is present there, if you have any problem you have to call a number and 90% of the time there will be no one to attend the call. The deposit money which you pay up-front they call it as refundable but the final statement always come accurate and you will never get that deposit back how much ever you clean. The utility charges is way high its almost 80-100$ per month for a single bedroom. The garage is very costly 75$ a month and its for manual door. Only 15 covered parking available and rest is non-covered. The curb side parking is always full and most of time when you drive out of apartment it difficult to see the moving from other side vehicle."
