"Have lived here for 5 years. Beautiful property and have never had an issue with noisy neighbors or anything like that. Maintenance team is very friendly and responsive almost everything I need taken care of gets done within 48 hours For the few times I've had to call in for help with something the resident relations team was always very responsible and helpful. Specifically Mysti, Ari, and Hoa are extremely helpful and friendly. All very knowledgeable and diligent on getting answers quickly and followed up with me to make sure I was satisfied with the outcome. I've already made multiple referrals to the property and have had some friends move in who had the opportunity to work with some of the leasers like Calvin and JJ - they were very responsive and accommodating to everyone I've introduced to the property. Will definitely be staying here until I buy a home!"

"I’ve been a resident of Pinnacle since 2018 and can confirm that the property management company has allowed this place to go to hell. The community used to be a nice, quiet, and peaceful place to live, but those days are over. Like many others have said, they removed the amazing on-site leasing office team that we used to have. There is no one on-site to go and talk to; they are all remote which is unheard of. If you want to talk to someone, phone or email are your only options. Just this morning, I went to use the on-site fitness facility and there was a homeless person sleeping in there. I was horrified and scared and left immediately. Of course we have no on-site security after 6am, so I couldn’t call them. I called and left a voicemail with the leasing office and the person that called me back was very condescending and could care less. She said that the apartment can’t control the actions of the homeless and to call the police. Like, are you kidding me?! They take 0 ownership over what happens on their property and have 0 desire to help improve the living experience for residents. There are several units in the community that are Airbnb’ing their units. This has drawn tons of riff raff to the pool and common areas to the point where I don’t even use them anymore. I called the leasing office, again, just a bunch of lip service and “ohh we are trying to figure out who it is, we are concerned too.” If you guys were here on-site, maybe you’d be able to figure it out! Theft is totally out of control. Our mailboxes have been broken into twice within the last 90-days and management, of course, does nothing about it. They don’t even have the courtesy to send out an email to residents informing them of what happened. Packages are also stolen on the regular and cars are broken into. Two weeks ago, we called the police because someone was siphoning gas out of vehicles. All in all, the situation here is so totally out of control and management could care less. I paid my rent 100% of the time, on time throughout COVID and the only thanks that I received was an 8%+ increase to my rent every year. Management is all about making profit and nothing more. I would strongly advise anyone that is considering moving here to look elsewhere."
"As a long-term resident of our apartment complex, I feel compelled to share my experience and express my disappointment with the recent changes. Over the nearly 10 years that we have lived here, we have noticed a decline in the quality of service and the overall management of the property. One of the biggest frustrations is the lack of a leasing office with real people who know us and are familiar with the details of the property. Since the pandemic, Essex has chosen to prioritize maximizing corporate profit by reducing overhead costs, which has resulted in the elimination of the leasing office and the personal touch it provided. Essex boasts about their record high profits during the pandemic, while people were struggling and facing increased costs of living, even having to move out of state. It is evident that the primary focus is on shareholders and profits, regardless of any flowery language they may use. We deeply miss having Larry, Jillian, or even Simon, despite our past disagreements. It was comforting to know there were familiar faces in the leasing office who we could rely on. Currently, Mike, Enrique, and Claudio are the only remaining staff members who continue to show dedication, care, and excellence in their work. Without them, this place would be falling apart. Furthermore, the issue of security is a major concern. Most of the "security cameras" on the property do not work, and there is no onsite security guard, despite having a patrol we can call. This is not as effective as having an onsite security presence, which would greatly contribute to residents' safety and peace of mind. Instead of spending tens of thousands of dollars on unnecessary landscaping renovations, Essex should prioritize addressing the most pressing issues raised by residents: security (including car break-ins, stolen packages, and homeless people sleeping in stairwells) and having an on-site office management. As a loyal resident, it is disheartening to see the decline in quality and the clear focus on corporate profit over the well-being and satisfaction of residents. "I have lived here for 2 years now. I love the Pinnacle!! I'm a very down to earth person and like to spend time in my apartment relaxing. This complex is very quiet compared to the ones across the street that are party central. And the units are actually pretty big. I have the Rodin layout. I have a view of the pool so I would hear people down below from time to time, but not bad at all. Beautiful views, & love the staff! Jillian and Mike and his crew are awesome. The gates are typically closed and secure with a pass code. Love living here! If you're lucky, nab an apartment with a pool/sunset views."
