"Worst Damn apartments in Santa Ana, you have alarms at 3am twice a month, overpriced, I don't even know why they have future resident parking when they give the future residents a hard time 24/7. Embarrassing management team would not recommend to stay and overpay for what you can't get if you can't have any of your guest feeling welcomed."
"Do not live here. In the first 8 months of living here, a pipe burst and flooded the unit I was in. I then had to spend a full month in an airbnb, my belongings were packed away and moved somewhere, and I had to demand a new place within the building (with higher rent, and a new started lease) and my belongings were held hostage by the remediation company until I kept bugging everyone to give me my belongings back, their payment was from 888 on Main, not me. Multiple times the power went out, particularly on hot days, and we would have no AC. Windows do not open, and on move-out the charges are exorbitant (I have also heard from other former tenants this same complaint). I paid for a professional cleaning on move-out, and was still charged for cleaning. The carpets that were a year old were fully replaced instead of cleaned. None of this was indicated in any way to me until I got a very small deposit reimbursement. In addition, management, office, and handyman personnel changed over several times in the 18 months I was there. Ask to speak with some of the tenants before you rent here."
"I currently live here DO NOT LIVE HERE. the windows do not open and they have frequent power and water outages. ALSO there has been several major leaks exposing asbestos in the community center and any water damaged walls. Currently there is another leak come check the property out for yourself. Getting ahold of maintenance is almost nonexistent. Property manager does all he can do however the building uses a water tank system to deliver water to the building and frequently does not work resulting in useless air conditioning. I have my newborn baby here and my fiancée we have stayed in hotels for now 5 days with no reasonable reimbursement. Also due to the electricity not working for days all of the groceries in the refrigerator are spoiled. MAXUS is the company that owns the building, I would never rent from them again due to them firing their property managers and maintenance managers 5 different times within the 2.5 yrs I have lived here as well as frequent issues in the buildings security and cleanliness and overall standards of the property. Spend the extra money and live somewhere else."
"Way to many issue since I have been here. The cleanliness of the outside surrounding area is not sanitary. There is a lot of odors and dog poop right at the entrances of the complex. We also pay for trash service and there has been countless times that our trash was not taken. The Airconditioning has gone out twice within a month. The first time took about a week to get it fixed. With no ventilation in the building and windows unable to open, our apartments were reaching temperatures of 80-85 degrees making it incredibly hard to live in as well dangerous as we have our child living in these conditions. The air conditioning and the power to the entire building has gone out a second time. As I write this review we are still waiting for power to be restored. Power initially went out on friday august 4, 2023. Again, temperatures in the apartment are too hot. Without electricity we’re unable to cook and food in the refrigerator has perished. Losing hundreds of dollars of groceries twice."
"I rented my unit at 888 On Main through Stripes & Casa Corporate Living during my 7 months rotation in OC and must say that this building is simply awesome! Seamless process to rent and sign via DocuSign that took less than couple hours. Very modern feel with lots of room. It’s in walking distance of tons of restaurants and bars, close to Amtrak and one awesome coffee shop called Hidden House (ended up working there in their patio area when the weather was nice)! The building has all the amenities, Adan the property manager and Natalie are one of the nicest and most professional staff and property manager I ever came across. I was impressed how Adan himself addressed any complaint I had and personally come to the apartment to ensure everything was fine. The unit itself was so bright and full of natural light with unmatched views (both sunset and sunrise)! The apartment had all amenities for extended living. The complex has a gym, quiet library room and game room. The complex is remodeled and very clean and secured! The AC unit wis exposed (no ceiling) but I had no sound problems and slept so peacefully, especially with a beautiful view to wake up to! Highly recommended. Would certainly rent again. 10 out 10!"
