"If I could rate zero stars I absolutely would. The only positive takeaway was the people/ families that live there. The owner and son (Omar) are an absolute disgrace. The pointless sheriff meetings they hold are soley what YOU can do on your own to detour theft and crime. I have witnessed this man literally catch attitude and roll his eyes when tenants have brought up issues to his attention. Exposed pipes and caution tape must be part of the new look. Yet they make a fuss about innocent children playing and creating a noise "disturbance". Let the kids play and enjoy! Too lazy to take out patio furniture for families to enjoy even though we are Way past Co-vid. I Never see a pool man clean the pools regularly and the little gym center and dog wash spa closes way to early. Looks like they are aiming to get soley young couples to live at the hills, families beware. You will be ripped off and there are countlesss stories of people, good paying tenants who where given the boot, I'd rather pay more in rent and still live in Diamond Bar than pay less and be stuck at the hills do not rent here within 3 months time you will see not only the disfunction and unorganized management but unfortunately the discrimination you might be subject to. The bad reviews are all true. I have so much to say, pictures etc... bottom line stay with you're parents, or go to Montefino!"

"Our vehicle was stolen from the parking lot inside the gates and when we asked around we found out that is unfortunately a very regular occurrence (or probably an organized one) that the corporate office never warns the residents about or spreads the word when an incident happens, leave alone doing anything about it. I see zero security measure/consideration whatsoever. No security patrol, no security cameras (there are only ones at the gate but footages is not available according to the corporate office when an incident happens, because they don't have the manpower to check it)."

"Robbed of 1000$ of deposit money because of a patio door that was broken before I moved in. Also, the place was left cleaner than when I moved in. I found toenails and dirt all over the apartment when I moved in. Very nice staff and complex. However keep in mind, they will rip you off upon move out. That is guaranteed. Expect 1-2k of your deposit not to be returned to you. I have spoken to others that have had a very similar experience. When you pay this much for rent, it seems wrong to do this to good paying tenants."

"Cars get stolen from the parking lot often, as well as tires being completely taken off. Management refuse to put up video cameras or notify other tenants of thefts. In the past month between September and mid Oct, at least 3 cars were stolen from the parking lot and 4 cars had their tires stolen. Wouldn't recommend! Edit after response from apartment: I contacted the police that worked on my case, and was informed there was no camera footage given."

"Owner of apartment complex are terrible along with his son. No loyalty or respect for tenants that have been there for years . They are really good at increasing the rent amount but have no interest in protecting the tenants property. In the past two months we have had at least 5-10 cars get their tires and rams stolen, few cars were stolen and multiple Catalytic converters as well. After all this …no cameras nor security guard were set up for service . Do not recommend this place to live unless you want to feel less than a person or get taken advantage of financially."
